A nice place to enjoy a date night. They have bed on the beds which you can enjoy but it does get a bit buggy if there is no wind and it’s humid. During the day, it’s a nice place for a burger and a beer in a typical beach bar atmosphere.

If I could give 0 stars, i would. This place is awful. The service is terrible. Worst of all, their employees are lying crooks. (1) I went their with my pregnant wife for valentine’s day. We told the waiter she was pregnant and order virgin drinks. After 20 minutes the waiter comes by and realizes he has yet to bring us drinks. When he does, they have alcohol in them. When I tell him that, he blames the bar for screwing up the order. Nice try… the check at the end of the night said alcoholic drinks. That guy is a liar. (2) Everything took forever! (3) This is the most important one. The lying crook waiter claimed my credit card was misplaced after he took it with the receipt after the meal. It took 20 minutes for him to finally return it to me. And guess what… the next day my credit card starting getting fraudulent charges. Don’t go to this place ever!

This place was a waste of time. They were out of everything I wanted by 4pm. No more burgers. No more empanadas. etc… etc… I finally settled on fried fish and french fries. The fish was way too salty. And I’m not even sure what type of fish it was. It wasn’t Whiting, Catfish or Talapia. I hope it was fish period! There was only one bartender handling it all by her self which made the experience worse. People kept jumping the line to place their order. It was chaos. I had a virgin piña colada and my husband had a vodka and cranberry. Both completely watered down. I can’t remember how much our bill was but it was way too much. I’d rather starve then buy anything from here again. The ladies bathroom is disgusting. You can tell no one check’s in there regularly to clean up or replenish tissues.

I was very excited to eat at this restaurant. My boyfriend and I got there and there were not many people there for dinner at 7:30. It took a minute for the 5 employees that were standing around to seat us. After we were sat the man asked for our drink order. We ordered a water and sangria and it took 17 minutes to receive these drinks after we had to hunt the waiter down to find out where our drinks were. We then asked for the regular menu that was online and was told they only had a pre fix dinner for the next 3 days. We decided after all this to leave. We asked for the bill which took 5 minutes. Waited to pay with our card and he never came back so we left cash to cover the $ 15 bill(for a sangria and water) By far the worst experience I’ve ever had. I’ve worked as a waitress for many years and understand it takes a few minutes sometimes but this was completely unacceptable. Don’t waste your time.

Service was the slowest I’ve encountered anywhere. Some parties who sat down before us had not been served after we finished our lunch. The cerviche was good but what we had the night before at the Intercontinental was more interesting. The only beers were in bottles and mediocre at that. The drinks, margarita and mojito both used lemon not lime and tasted of sour mix not juice. I am at a loss to understand the good reviews.

So recomendo para aproveitar a praia e drinks.

This place was delicious. I was with a group of 10 and we all enjoyed the meals that we chose. Or server was great, she had great suggestions and was on top of all our requests. This place has a great atmosphere and is right on the beach. Definitely will suggest it to others.

Super Ibiza loud on weekends. On the beach. I don’t know even how to start or finish… This is a «Sex in the City» run down ibiza with great pretentions for the beautiful to be seen amidst old white cloth and beach cabanas and loud ibiza music. Our server Sergio, was a unique doll, who struggled to give a sincere smile through a truly forced meal… But the icing on the cake was whomever answered the phone, who I asked to speak with a manager before I sat to talk about my experience(or lack thereof) after plunking down $ 150 for a memorable meal(for all the bad memories). The person answering the phone asked(in spanish, the reason for my call, and when I said I’d really like to speak to a manager, I heard a «jodase» and a click… then they didn’t answer the phone…). Hoping we could discuss this(not expecting anything more than to hear what the manager has to say, I was left with my mouth open. I am no longer the«hottie» of my youth, among the young and the beautiful or the Gwyneth Paltrow wanabees… Im a well rubenesque mom, traveled who eats — a lot. Loves food and wine. And sweets, and most people. We came to La Plage looking for something other than the Metropol or La Playita or Pinones type food. I would have headed out to Pikayo or Bottles, but I just didn’t feel like driving that far(PS, La Plage parking for dinner is $ 10). Our $ 28 of Seguras Viudas was WARM… OK, we figured, Island time is slow, so it would chill by the time food came out. I asked for a quesadilla for my son for meal — simple — just cheese and chicken… First one out, had refritos and an ashy colored refrito for that matter. But Sergio took it back. The second came out… I’ve had better and cheaper quesadillas at taco bell. I don’t care how much poetic license you take, you just dont use cheese-whiz substance on a quesadilla. Velveeta? Oh dear! YUCK They were out of lobster tacos so we ordered the octopus salad. Sharing portion of bland octopus somewhat in a nest of romaine. Bland, but the veggies were cut small so they were not overwhelming. DONOTORDERTHECROQUETTES. We ordered ham for the boy and eggplant for us. Some sort of mushy unidentified something in a bacalaito style batter — greasy, limp, lifeless — not appealing at all. The ceviche was good, nice acid balance, and also share worthy and worth sharing. Out comes the«root vegetable mash» — a cute purple mound of smashed purple potatoes and a hint of yautia — all else missing, and woefully underseasoned, no crunch element(garlic chips? Bacon? Chicharron? Something…). Churrasco was ok, a tad overcooked but tasty. I had a «waldorf salad» — Confusing dish of romaine with zucchini, under ripened tomatoes, nice pineapple chunks, walnuts with a nice parcha based dressing. It broke my heart to tell Sergio, and some of the servers snorted as I spoke with him, I guess, not being the hottie looking model, they must have thought«who does this frumpy housewife think she is?» Well, a hard working mom, Puertorrican to the core, who respects the work of Puertorrican chefs, and this was not one of my proudest gastronomic moments. If you are going to serve $ 150 worth of food, can you have the decency of serving something that tastes good? My son sheeply said — «I would’ve prefered Churches…» And so would have my wallet. Shame on me for not heading to Metropol. Sergio said they are in between chefs and the head chef was not in today. He said they are in between menus… I was crushed… I really wanted to love the place, my sister and other Unilocalers recommended it. But in general, that person who answered the phone — I’d love to meet your mom and tell her what a poor job she did in raising such a disrespectful young man. What a piece of work you are. So here I am, writing, putting you on notice, and hoping to spare other diners from this form of treatment and poor gastronomic experience. If you MUST be one with the young and beautiful, stick with a fruity drink and fried cheese. You can’t go wrong. Get Sergio as your server and tip HIM well — its not his fault that the kitchen had zero pride in the food the put on my table.

Slow… I mean really really slow service. Took about an hour to get our food and at least 30 mins to get the check paid even though the restaurant was not busy. The food was average at best with the salads lacking any flavor. The ceviche was the bright spot and actually very good. Beware they add 18% tip automatically to your bill!

LOOKFORTHEBANNER across from the Howard Johnson’s. The staff was us per friendly and even hooked it up with a cabana. They have tasty drinks, delicious food(try the ceviche), fun music and great access to the beautiful beach. The water was perfection. I would definitely come back.

Stayed at the beach House hotel and spent a day at the beach just outside the hotel. We decided we needed lunch and drinks and waved over the beach waiter. He took our order and it took no less than 1 hour for our food to arrive. I had a burrito and my order was wrong. The waiter came to check after a looong time(had to have been at least 20 mins) I told him about the mess up but it was never fixed. Found hair in my fries. After all of this we were upset and wanted something to compensate, a drink on the house at least. We told the waiter and he said he would«take care of us» with our drinks. Drinks took another 30 min to arrive. Empty plates sat for an hour not being cleaned up until we finally mentioned it as we were leaving to go back to our room. We never got our bill so as we were headed upstairs we had to ask for it. And wait. And wait. About 15 min. Then we found we were charged for the drinks that were supposedly«taken care of». As guests of the hotel we were entitled to a discount which we asked for, three different people asked us for vouchers? We had no idea what they were talking about. When we checked in we were issued paper wristbands and told that the wrist bands were how they knew to give us a discount. The waiters and bar staff looked at us like we were crazy when we showed them our wristbands. FINALLY, FINALLY. We got our bill. Without the discount. Had to ask again for it. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement. We had read the bad reviews from other Unilocalers about this place and decided to risk it anyway. Do yourself a favor DONTRISKIT.

Good environment. Local beer is $ 6 a bottle, which is a bit steep. House made cocktail was really good. Was a mixture of lemonade, mojito mint, coconut, and rum. Ordered the calamari appetizer and it was so flavorless that we decided to skip dinner.

The ceviche was excellent. You can taste the passionfruit. It was a lot larger than I expected! The mofongo with beef was not as good. Presentation was nice but not medium rare like we asked for and tasted too much like soy sauce. The puck of mofongo had some very dry, hard kernels inside and a bit dry on the outside. I’d pass on that here. Passionfruit cheesecake: Good. I’d happily eat it again. Sangría: I took a bite of the pineapple on the glass and it tasted like soap. Gross. Atmosphere: Live DJ. Great if you are into house music. A bit too loud for conversación. Also got munched by mosquitoes; remember to use bugspray before sitting outside!

We didn’t go inside — we opted to enjoy their drinks on their outdoor area, which is really just a bunch of lounge chairs, cabanas and umbrellas on the beach. The odd thing is you have to ‘rent’ your lounge chairs for $ 25! We played dumb and just sat down and ordered drinks, which were a bit pricey. I would suggest getting more staff for the outside, as it took a long time for mot people to be served. They blast club music, which is nice if you are hanging out with friends. My husband and I simply wanted to enjoy a refreshing drink in the shade at the beach so we sat as far from the music and large groups as possible. This is a nice place to hang out if you plan on hanging out at the beach all day — that’s when I think the $ 25 rental charge would make sense. But since we were only there for 1 round of drinks, we didn’t want to have to pay to sit.
