Great place! It’s a hole in the wall on a very narrow road PR-19. Parking is almost impossible, but has a «valet» who will park the car into what appears to be a 45 degree diving drive way. Next time I’ll come earlier and see if I can park out at street level. Anyway, the menu is very impressive. I had the monthly special, which was squid rice and tostones for $ 10(regular $ 13). Absolutely delicious!!!

Nice place, clean and friendly. Good for big groups too. There are two billiard tables too if you feel like playing after an awesome fish meal. I had the crab stew with tostones, It was really good. My husband had plate of black rice with squid and it was really good too.

Inexpensive good quality seafood. This is a gem hidden an Guaynabo, PR. Do not let it’s humble appearance fool you. Food is great!

Amazing local establishment — you know it’s a good sign when you walk in are you’re the only one there that is not a local. Highly recommend the fish tacos and the seafood paella/rice dish. Service is a little slow, but only because they’re so busy. They will park your car for you in the underground garage, but note that the street gets very crowded because of how busy the restaurant is.

If you want to eat where the locals eat, this is it. They have other branches and a sister chain called Cayo Caribe, but this is the original and the best. Yes the place isn’t pretty, particularly the really original structure with the pool tables at the end. The newer dining room is nicer, but still, this place won’t win any architectural awards. However if you’re not an ambiance snob and just come for the food then this place will not disappoint as long as you don’t go with things far afield of the specialities. The Shrimp Empanadillas are to die for and so are the Cheese Balls with Guava dipping sauce as an appetizer. I’m usually full by the time I finish eating those. Several friends swear by the fish tacos. Don’t order a salad. That’s not what these guys are in business to make. Stick to the seafood and you’ll be fine. Many things are fried, but hey, that’s the local way. Everything here is authentic, and the few things are aren’t, state so clearly. As for the drinks, just get anything that includes one of their freshly squeezed juices. They’re inexpensive and tasty.

A hidden gem in Guaynabo. Stopped by at lunch time the waiting time was not too bad. After a 15 min wait we were led to our table. Anything you order here is good. From the appetizers to the dessert. So glad we decided to stop here for lunch.

So far, the best meal we’ve had in Puerto Rico. We found this place after asking the bartender in San Juan what her absolute favorite place to eat was. She instantly grew animated and wrote this place down and said they had the best seafood there. She was correct. Here’s what you do: ignore what the waiter says when he suggests the pollo because you look like a major tourist and get the seafood. If possible ask the customers what they recommend because they will be so passionate about their recommendations. One man even brought over a shrimp from his table and told us to try it. Another man took it upon himself to order for us as some of the staff don’t speak English. They’ll all say the same thing. Get anything seafood and for drinks get the fresh squeezed juices(grapefruit, orange, etc). If you’re feeling festive the sangria. The staff is attentive and so nice. We got the ceviche, fried fish nuggets, La Cueva(fish drenched in yummy seafood sauce), a sidedish of mofongo with salad, a passion fruit juice(this is not fresh and was a tad too sweet), a sangria, and Nutella flan. It all came out to $ 67 after tax and tip. The service was amazing and our waitress was so sweet. Best meal to round out our day.

Great place that’s open late. We sat outside and there was a young guy playing music which really set the mood. The food was ok if you like fried fish. We order the shrimp and mahi tacos and they were very overwhelming because of all the fried batter. If you like fried fish you’ll love this place.

Every time we go we’ve had great food. Seafood is fresh and seasonings are on spot. Great freshly squeezed grapefruit juice, for starters the fish tacos are awesome, and the Parrillada de mariscos is always an excellent choice. We’ve also had the Grouper with in coco sauce, or the Churrascos. All good!

Great place to go grab fresh seafood. The turnovers are a sure bet and so are the fried fish nuggets. In general the food is very good and your are not going to go wrong on whatever you order. The night scene here is very casual and have fresh orange and grapefruit juice at very affordable prices.
