Cheap drinks. Great service. Very cool guy behind the bar. Cheap bar food. .89 cent frozen burgers that are great for a quick meal or to fill you up. Small atmosphere but nice.

The bartenders are nice and the mini burgers and happy hour are both a great deal! Definitely order some mini burgers :)

I’m not sure why this place garners 4.5 stars from the Unilocal community. The food is marginal at best, and the prices are not great. Sure, considering the real estate, they could probably charge more, but hey I could say that about any place. One good thing I had there was the Arepas… those were good! Oh and the beans! The beans were pretty good too. That was about the only tasty thing we tried there though. The fried cheese was dry, and the mozzarella sticks tasted funny. To their credit, they do try. Service is pretty good. 3-Stars, can’t give any more than that.

Great food, very low prices, and very large portions! Right across the street from our hotel so we walked! Wish I would have tried this place sooner in our vacation the shrimp pastelillo was my favorite!

Our server was great. Very friendly and warming to all of our family including the children as well as the adults. Happy hour specials were amazing, $ 3 for tequila shots, $ 4 for vodka, mojitos 2 for $ 10. Didn’t try the food but a great place to get drinks at a great price.

The food was amazing, portions were large, our server was nice and spoke English with us. Will probably be returning. Our waiter recommended the octopus mofongo and it was BOMB. Get it.

Excellent service. The food is fresh, hot, and delicious. Great prices, actually the best in the area. Try the pastelillo options, it’s kinda like a hot-pocket but with local seafood or crab. Great location, across from casino.

So I just went there and this was the first restaurant we went to in PR. We actually went b/c we walked past it and we saw the previous Unilocal reviews. it was 8pm on a Friday and the place was empty. That should have been our first sign. I had the empanada res(which I question if that is what I had been served), mofongo, and mixed vegetables. The empanada was a bit dry and salty. The mofongo was really salty until 15 minutes after being served the special sauce for it was served. That helped the saltiness a bit. My companion’s food was underwhelming as well. I may have been more kind with my rating if the ambience and the service was better. There just didn’t seem to be much energy there and we were not really made to be excited about anything on the menu. To top it off, when we tried to order one of the items from the menu for dessert we were told that they did not have it. The place was empty! There was no way they could have run out. Also the way we were told was as if it had not been on the menu for awhile and we must have been reading things wrong(which we had not). On a kind note: the place was clean, no one was rude, and it was in walking distance to many nice ice cream and yogurt shops(so getting dessert elsewhere was no problem).

Came in on a Monday night around 8:40p. We had a party of 5, and the only ones seated. Service was slow and the waitress messed up several of our orders. Grouper ceviche was fresh and good… some of the chips that came the ceviche were soggy but the ones on top were good. Mahi Mahi was also fresh. Mashed potato was not so good and neither was the fried plantains. Sweet plantains tasted better Environment was nice with tropical music. It is small inside and has two tables outside.

This restaurant is a refreshing sit-down place with a full bar and a TV. When I visited this place the Spurs were playing the Heat for the NBA championship and the vibe was awesome. The TV was on full blast and the bartender was whipping up drinks. At first I wasn’t going to order food, I just wanted to watch the TV in a not so rowdy environment. After looking at the menu I was sold! They had great American dishes like T-Bone steaks and Pork chops with a little Puerto Rican fusion, plantains on the side. The also had the famous Mofongo on the menu for a decent price. I ordered the T Bone steak with the plantains on the side and everything was cooked to perfection. My T– Bone steak was huge and juicy, even though it was well done. After spending 5 days in Puerto Rico I’ve become a plantain expert and those were g r e a t! The air conditioning was pumping out a strong breeze so much so it became kind of uncomfortable in the dining room. We decided to eat outside were it was warm, but it was reasonable since the sun had gone down. The owners said the place had only been open for 20 days and they were welcoming feedback.
