Still great food! They are in a new location that allows more seat in and drinks. The jerk chicken is unbeatable in taste and value!

I enjoyed my $ 10 special of the day — curry chicken (Trinidadian style, I think). Very tasty! Nice place to eat and relax for a while. I’ll say it’s better to eat your food there instead of take-​away. By the time I took my dinner back to the restaurant, it was hard to capture the orginal essence of the food. But that’s my fault, it should not have ordered fried chicken to take home.

Fattie’s is a Viejo San Juan favorite for Lunch! They’ve moved to bigger digs so you won’t see them coming in and out of the kitchen so much unless you sit in the quiet area next to the kitchen.
Fattie’s is super casual. This is like eating in someone’s Jamaican home, each dish is made on the spot, so… put in your order and walk around for 10 minutes or grab a seat at Café Majjorca in front of Plaza Barrandias and have dessert FIRST!
I hope one day she’ll offer an early evening buffet!

This is a great place! Wow, I am writing this review with a full belly wishing I was able to fit more delicious food.
My recommendations are the jerk chicken and the fried chicken. Absolutely delicious. Come with an empty stomach, you won’t regret it.

So glad I kept lookin for their new address!!! The food is AMAZING! I had the jerk shrimp, jerk chicken and while red snapper in creole sauce. My mouth is watering just thinking about it! Lovely waitstaff as well — they’ll give you’d suggestions if prompted and everyone is smiling.
Note: there will be a wait for your food. I waited 30 minutes for the jerk shrimp. Everything is cooked to order! Be patient. Read one of the books they have at the front or chat with the person Albert to you. The wait is sooooo worth it.

WONDERFUL place to eat in Old San Juan! Everything is made to order so it takes a little time to get your food but the owner was very nice. The place was pretty hot but it’s to be expected.
I just got off a seven day cruise with Royal Caribbean where the food was subpar at best. I’m very happy this was my first meal…
