Luis’ Taxi and Day Trips

Luis is amazingly helpful and considerate. Even in the high season he was flexible and accommodating. He was also full of recommendations for connecting transportation between Fajardo and Vieques, and for getting somerthe airport. ¹⁰⁄₅ would ride with him a fourth time!

We met Luis through a taxi service in San Juan and now we have his number there’s no need for anyone else! He truly made our trip to Puerto Rico enjoyable. He took us on tours around the capital and introduced us to Piñones where we ate the best meal of our trip. Whenever we needed to go somewhere he was always willing to take us and his prices are great, especially as his service is more than 5 stars! I’m mad that I can only leave Luis 5 stars! It’s simply not fair because other people get 5 star reviews and quite frankly he is twice as good as them. Luis should get 10 stars!
I randomly called Luis to get a ride. I was in a strange city and just standing at a cross streets of two major thoroughfares. I knew where I wanted to go, but wasn’t 100% sure where I was. He was too kind, figured out where I was, and was there in 7 minutes to pick me up. Now that’s service!
After that kind of service I knew I wasn’t using another taxi for the rest of my trip… and I’m glad I didn’t. Luis was always accommodating, very knowledgeable, and spoke great English (which is nice when you are a gringo that can’t speak a lick of Spanish).
I will never use another service if I come to PR, and will always recommend Luis to anyone I know.
