Espresso House

Moin Ihr Kaffee-​Junkies. Wir sind hier zufällig hin, weil wir vor unserem Kundentermin noch etwas Zeit hatten… Booom! Volltreffer! Inzwischen war ich schon in 3 oder 4 verschiedenen Espresso Häusern und die sind alle nice. Sehr gemütlich und das Personal ist locker, zu Scherzen aufgelegt, macht Smalltalk. So muss das sein! Der Kaffee — mal oberlecker mit einer tollen Crème, wenn man Latte Macchiato oder was ähnliches nimmt ist der Milchschaum so dick, dass der Löffel fast drauf liegen bleibt. Fantastisch!
Aber: Das eigentliche Highlight sind die Muffins, um genau zu sein der Kardamom-​Muffin. Gebacken mit feinen Karottenstückchen ist der Teig super locker und fluffig. Oben drauf ist ein super süßes Icing aus Philadelphia-​Crème und dann ist noch eine ordentliche Prise Kardamom drin — ein Gedicht, zum Niederknien, ich habe noch nie einen besseren Muffin gegessen. Jedes Mal, wenn ich geschäftlich in Göteborg bin muss es ab ins Esspresso House gehen und es werden außerdem noch Muffins mit zurück nach Deutschland genommen!

An ok coffe joint at Vasa in Gothenburg. Not a personal fan of Espresso House as they have all their pastries out «in the open air» so any customer standing in line can by accident sneeze or caugh on just your bun bleeeeeek =(
However, they make good coffe…

Great Espresso and friendly service.
I have no idea, how great all the other drinks are, but the espresso is strong and really good.
I only waiting for like 30 seconds the staff seems to know their job pretty well.
They also have a large selcetion of smoothies, softdrinks, hot drinks and cupcakes. Feel free to try one.
This place is like starbucks, but quite a bit cheaper and since to be prefered.

I like EH for the latte and chai latte! The best in town imo.
I don’t like EH for the prices. It is pricey. The breakfast offer grilled bagel and hot beverage at 65SEK is a rip off! They used to have a really good breakfast sandwich which they unfortunately changed earlier this year to a smaller and less good one.
If you’re counting calories you should know that their large Latte is 230 cals and chai latte even 330cals! (According to their own homepage
?)
Honestly, you can’t find anything from the bakery under 300 cals except a few items.
If you’re a regular, get the discount card it is worth it!
The atmosphere isn’t the coziest but they do have free wifi.
