On Sundays they serve«Americain Brunch. Well, if you want to get stuffed it is perfect, but it is not very sexy. Table reservations are recommended because the brunch is POPULAR. Get a seat just after seating openings — otherwise food gets boring. You know, the buffet style. I have been here a couple of times and every time I sort of regret it. Some dishes are really good some are just not pleasant at all. If you want OJ it costs extra. I could wish for a better selection of bread and bagels. I could wish for a lot. I guess it is fun for kids, but if you really enjoy american brunches, don’t go here.

Date: 1.7.2011(Qype) The Liseberg Heden Hotel is a nice and comfortable place to stay when you are in Göteborg. The rooms are clean and well equipped with TV, free WiFi and even an ironing board with an electric iron. I liked the 1 level building with the inner garden areas. The staff is very friendly. From the Liseberg Heden you are in walking distance to the pedestrian area downtown, the harbour and most other interesting places. They charged 88 € per night incl. a comprehensive breakfast. Definetly a good place to stay whe you are around.

I am not sure where I stand on this hotel. It was cheap so you can’t expect much. The employees were extremely friendly and helpful, but it almost felt fake. There were three of us so we stayed in the family room, which is about the same size as a hotel room, but with a loft that has two extra beds. With just three people, it felt really cramped. The toilet was coming apart as shown in the picture I took. We informed them of this almost immediately, but after a two night stay nothing was done about it, even though we were informed it would be taken care of right away. The shower was awkward and was set up in a way that made it impossible for the water to not leak out to the rest of the bathroom. As soon as I stepped in to the bathroom, it felt dirty. This was confirmed when I found a dead silverfish on the extra toilet paper roll. It looked like someone had used the roll to squash it. When I asked my friends about it, both whom are very squirmish when it comes to bugs, they both creeped out and denied squashing the bug. There was another silverfish that ran across the floor shortly after. Breakfast was aweful and consisted of soggy eggs swimming in egg juice, plastic tasting sausage, and bacon that was either burnt or raw. Other than that, there was cereal, bread and rolls and a couple of toppings to choose from. I would rather spend money on buying my own breakfast than eat the crap they served here. So why do I give this place 3 stars? I wanted to give it two, but for some reason my friends liked it. They thought the bathroom was nice and that the hotel in general was nice. So I recognize that if you aren’t used to anything better and have never stayed in a nice hotel, the conditions here might be perfectably acceptable for you. I still wouldn’t recommend it unless you are looking to save money, but you get what you pay for.
