This place doesn’t really stand out from the outside and the interior inside is nothing special. However, the food here is pretty good and that’s what you’ll be coming back for.
We tried the special sushi rolls and I really liked the Dragon roll, you get 10 pieces for 89 kr which is a pretty good deal. The udon and ramen are quite nice as well and I must say this has become my new favorite Japanese restaurant in town. If you are tired of the bored plain sushi served everywhere else in town, then you should definitely check out this place.

The thing I like about this sushi bar is that they are more than just a typical Swedish sushi bar. So they don’t just sell classic (boring) 8, 10, or 12 piece random sushi, they also have the special maki contemporary rolls like dragon rolls, rainbow rolls etc. (which is quite a rare find in Gothenburg and Sweden in general, most sushi bars in Sweden play it safe) They also have other dishes too! Like bento boxes, yakitori, ramen etc. It’s like a full blown Japanese restaurant. And for Gothenburg, that’s awesome! There are also not a whole lot of Japanese restaurants in Gothenburg that don’t sell anything else but sushi.
From the outside, on. Saturday night, it may look slow because there are empty tables and just one guy handling the restaurant. But don’t let that fool you, this guy is taking phone orders every five minutes. I’ll definitely be back to try some of the other food!
