This place has some pretty decent Cantonese food. Out of the Chinese restaurants I have been to in Gothenburg, Lai Wa offers decent portions at decent prices. I love the sweet and sour ribs and Singaporean rice noodles.
This is my de facto Chinese food restaurant when I need to get my fix. One thing I do not like about this place is that they charge for water. Seriously? So, if you’re going to drink anything, at least buy a proper drink. However, since I am rating this restaurant purely on the food, I’ll turn a blind eye on the water bit.
They have English and Chinese menus.

I take out chinese from here once in awhile. They are fast.
The food is good and portions for take out are generous. For take out I think it is a bit on the pricey side. If you are a few people order to share to get a little taste of many dishes. One whole is often «too much».
Try the Biff a la Peking! it is fine sliced beef fried in some kind of a sweet sauce.
