I went for Klostergatans for a business event a few days ago. Had the 385 kr menu of the month, which included Nettle soup with rooster breast, egg crème, crispy skin, cucumber as first course, lamb sirloin as second, and Milk chocolate mousse, terrine of pear, toffee, caramelized walnuts as dessert. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, especially given the price. Everything I had a just okay, felt a little too sweet, and lacking in the flavor department. So did not«wow» at all. I am from North America, so I am not sure if my disappointment comes from me not being used to the general lack of flavor in Swedish food. I also did not understand the excessive pairing with sweet with savory in this restaurant(for example, the lamb sirloin came with a side of white cream that looked and tasted like whipped cream and a slice of carrot that tasted like candy), but others have told me that is something the locals like. From what I hear, this is supposed to be one of the best restaurants in Lund. I see it packed almost every night, but personally, I’d rather go somewhere else.

I have not eaten here but they do serve some really excellent coffee by local coffee roastery Love Coffee. Stop by for an espresso by the counter and I can guarantee you’ll be pleased.
