Don’t go to Patisseriet if you don’t want to spend too much money, but do go here whenever else. It’s a lovely place with the most fancy looking and special cakes I have had. They taste very well, too. It’s not the coziest place, but that chocolate/caramel cake I had simply was too good to not give them 4 stars. So yes. Go here if you feel for a little quality fika in Lund.

Rating des Ortes: 5 Stockholm, Sweden
Lately I been trying out some of the more upscale places in my hometown Lund and one of them happens to be the place I adore so much it will get my first 5 star rating. This bright and shining star, a modern bakery and coffee shop, is called Patisseriet. At first glance the Pattiseriet might come across as a posh or even somewhat of a snobbish bakery due its choice of ingredients and their origin. In order to insure best possible quality all chocolate used are French Valrhona and the vanilla from Haiti for instance. But the prices charged are far from snobbish and pretentious, in fact considering the quality provided the overall value is nothing short of excellent. A great and ever so friendly staff is always there to assist you patiently and this is worth mentioning because this place is almost always crowded. The menu is seasonal and this is pretty cool for a small town bakery in southwest Sweden. For instance during Christmas holidays they did offer a saffron as well as apple & cinnamon cheesecake(traditional Swedish holiday flavors) that were both to die for! The gingerbread macaroons are another favorite of mine I’ll be missing until next December. The stone oven baked breads might be a tad expensive for everyday use but I am pretty sure it is not easy to find a kilo and half loaf of Levain(Aromatic French bread) in many other places here in Sweden. Even the more traditional buns such as the cinnamon or cardamom buns are some of the best I ever had. On the sandwich side anything with the house made baguette breads is to be recommended not only cause of the excellent baguette bread used but also cause of the Parmesan cream sauce or the basil cream sauce accompanying and marrying the meat served ever so perfectly. Patisseriet alone is going to be the main provider of Unilocal badges/awards on my Unilocal account as it is easily the place I might come to visit once a week, after all it is that good folks!
