Beautiful breads, all baked on-site. The sourdough varieties are all vegan, and we had one with walnuts that was incredible(and I am not generally a bread lover). Coffee was decent. We also took a baguette home that was really nice. The only downside is that there is vey little seating available, especially considering how popular the bakery is.

The baked goods are fabulous, but the space itself isn’t great for a café. Having to go outside to get to the bathroom definitely lowers the rating.

In case the other thirty people shouting cinnamon buns didn’t make it clear enough, get the cinnamon buns(kanelbulle in Swedish). Coffee is good, they have some other fancy drinks they make that I may one day graduate to but I’m more than happy with their regular coffee. The place itself walks the line between try-hard kitschy and found-out-the-second-hand-store-was-having-a-sale, and it walks it well. Feels weird but cozy and comfortable and they also have a sweet backyard for that one summer day that Sweden is purported to have, it’s just to the right of the entrance and you should park your bike there too.

Cappucino is ok. The 2 Times I’ve had cappuccino in Sweden, they have been very strong. It’s not bad at all. Just unexpected. For me too strong. The buns… cardamom to be precise are awesome. I’m sure the cinnamon is great too. But if you love cardamom go for that. So delicious.

It’s good. We ordered a chocolate coconut ball, nut pastry of some sort, a croissant, and a long thin sandwich. It was all pretty good but nothing really stood out from other good four star bakeries. The place has plenty of seating but it does get crowded at some points of the day. Their loafs of bread look very good and we shall try them next time.

S: t Jakobs is another posh and trendy stone oven bakery in the middle of Lund city. A very small, cute and cosy place with a ratter steep price tag. I have mentioned in the past the hip trend of overpaying for good food and bread and bakeries are not excluded from this trend! S:t Jakobs is one the better places where one might fulfil the desire of paying top dollars for quality. However I find the selection somewhat limited especially when trying to come across as «all that». Even though the cardamom buns and the coffee served here are to die for this is dime of dozen place among rest of the trendy stone oven bakeries. In my humble opinion to over-hype a staple food such as bread predominantly by raising the price tag and aesthetic appearanc is somewhat like flexing mussels build by growth hormones.

This place makes the best cinnamon buns in Lund. It’s my favorite place to go for a bun and a coffee in town. They also have a nice back yard, where you can sit on sunny days.
