Kurzfazit vorweg — welch ein Geschmackserlebnis!
Durch einen Tipp kam ich hier hin und ich bin glücklich, dass ich mich diesem angenommen habe und nicht zu einem anderen Restaurant gegangen bin, das ich vorher im Auge hatte.
Es gibt als Mittagsangebot drei Gerichte (vegetarisch, Fisch, Fleisch), inklusive Salatbuffet, Brot, Wasser, Kaffee. Ich entschied mich für das vegetarische Angebot, denn das hörte sich unverschämt lecker an! Möhren-​Pfannkuchen (Pancakes, nicht die dünnen), mit Hummus, frittiertem Schwarzkohl, Gemüse und Salat. Die Wartezeit überbrückend, nahm ich mir einen kleinen Teller und probierte mich durch das Salatbuffet, das übrigens immer wieder aufgefüllt wurde, teilweise mit neuen Leckereien. Es war alles eine Gaumenfreude, meine Highlights waren aber der Karottensalat mit Orangen-​Zitronen-​Dressing (??) und Sesam, sowie Weißkohlsalat mit Preisselbeeren.
Wenig später wurde mein Teller gebracht und es sah sagenhaft gut aus (siehe Photo)! Und es hat ebenso geschmeckt! Die Schwarzkohlchips waren der Knaller, die Möhren-​Pfannkuchen ein Hochgenuss! Angerichtet wurde es auch noch sensationell … das Auge ist ja schließlich mit!
Die Mitarbeiterinnen waren alle super freundlich und flink!

Let’s start by ignoring the confusing logistics of manoeuvring through ordering, getting your buffee complimentary salad, finding a table and figuring out which staff that does what and move straight to the food…
Smak serves up «husman» food, classic swedish food. Lunch is on the pricy side but there is rarely a reason to leave hungry.
The décor is modern and garden is quaint.
You’ll find plenty of mommies with strollers here as the seating is generous.
The staff here is really nice, on my very first visit i lost my wallet and they had tried to track me down from my drivings licence and a member of staff waited after closing to let me in to retrieve it. How lovely isn’t that?

— Nice hours in a relaxing environment —
On saturday and sunday 15./16. August 2009 i visited after the exhibition in the Konsthall the restaurant/​café smak, which is open daily from 11:00 am — 05:00 pm and resides inside of the Konsthall. For the first view around, it seems to be a canteen. But isn’t ! If you take a second view, you recognise the true heart of the smak. In this restaurant reigns a superb cooking chef with an extra short but very good menu that consists of best and very well prepared ingredients. All beverages and coffee are included in the price you pay for your main course. Three main courses between ~80 — ~150 crowns, fresh salads, fresh baked Potatoes potatoes in their jacket, super fresh and tasty bread and butter. Some wine as well offered at the black boards. So what does it need more when it’s good? At good wheather you should sit outside at the enclosed terasse for having some pretty nice hours under the sun !
The service was quick and very kindly, so i decided to return just the next day for trying other main courses. And that is seldom enough ! TIP: At the End of August (29. August) the Brunch season in the smak starts !
