My wife and I were given a recommendation to eat at Victor’s in Malmö so we went for lunch. It was very difficult to get a table not because they were busy but because they were terribly unorganized. Upon sitting down we waited for someone to greet us and ask what we wanted to drink. That never happened but the man who seemed to be in charge acknowledged us. I finally flagged down somebody and he told me he could not help us to which the boss told him to help us. I asked if he had an English menu and he said yes but told me to get it myself and then wouldn’t tell me where. Finally he said he would go get one for us and he disappeared only to return with a meal for someone else. We waited about ten minutes and in the meantime a group of four sat down and were taken care of right away. We got up and left and while walking out passed the guy in charge who, unhappy with us walking out, said something about us Americans. The service was absolutely terrible here but to insult someone based on where they are from is downright tasteless and nasty. We went to Mello Yello next to them and were treated with respect, had a nice meal, and great service.

Taking off 2 stars for the poor service(i sat inside). I went here for dinner(the meatballs) which were good, but that was the only thing helping this review. staff seems a bit snotty and unattentive. had to wait 25 minutes just for the waiter to come to my table and take my order. food came out quick. After eating, waiter walked by and didnt ask if i needed anything else, and disappeared. I waited another 30 minutes before I finally had the nerve to get up, go over to the bar and ask for my bill so I could leave. the snotty bartender said«im not the reaponsible one…» and didnt seem to want to help. finally the waiter came by the bar and i was cashed out. left no tip. wont return.

A Very relaxing and picturesque location in the square, where one can sit outside and enjoy some good quality, authentic Swedish dishes. All around, a wonderful dining experience.

My first two star review. It took me two hours to get out of this place. The blankets and heaters were a nice touch, but the service here was basically non-existent. Maybe inside is the way to go here. The food was passable, but I wouldn’t go back to this place.

Located right on the square in the heart of the old section of the city. Was cold night but they had over abundance of heaters and warm blankets at each table. Service was good, relaxing atmosphere and food was ok. I had Caesar Salad, Meatballs and Ice-cream/brownie desert. Great place to hang out.

Service was just non existing on lunch, with an extremely snotty girl at the bar where the food was ordered. They just told us to pick up half full pre filled glasses of water that were luke warm that probably had been out there for an hour when we ordered ice water on this very warm day. When asked for ice she rolled her eyes and dropped a few slivers into our glasses. The quality of the food didn’t really made me any happier.

We stopped in at Victor’s for a lunch stop. The restaurant is located the main square of the older part of the city. Typically this is a recipe for bland over priced food, but we were hungry and the sign out front proudly stated they served«delicious burgers». That’s all I needed to hear and we popped inside and took a seat towards the back of the restaurant. We asked our server for a menu, but only to find out there are no menu’s. Just a chalkboard that stands near the front of the restaurant. I felt bad because she literally hauled that thing over to our table and in broken English she did her best translating the list of their daily offerings. No burgers were being offered which put my burger craving on hold. But there were a few other excellent sounding menu items that I had to choose from. It did not take me long to decide and went with the baked chicken that was drizzled in a rich gorgonzola sauce. My friend went with the fish stew. My chicken was cooked to perfection and the sauce not as heavy as you would think. My friend commented that his fish stew was one of the best he ever tasted. The service was attentive and we were checked in on several times. Just be sure to not rely on the menu posted outside on the street.
