A good choice for kids or rank amateurs — or in my case, a telemarker and skier looking to try snowboarding. Cheap, easy, and close to Zurich — a great way to get started. There are several ticket options in Brunni — just the one Brunni T-bar, just the two Haggenegg T-bars, or the whole area. For your first day, do Brunni; for your second, either Haggenegg or the whole valley. One small rental shop serves both areas(white container, just south of the Haggenegg lift building); there are several sausage-and-coffee options right on the road between the lifts, as well as several restaurants higher on the Haggenegg side. The small Seilbahn(aerial tram) to Holzegg is included in the whole-valley ticket, but isn’t a huge win — the main red trail down is basically a road, and the small T-bars at the top aren’t as nice as the Brunni one, unless you’re staying at the Gasthaus on top.
