Busy store with a good variety of food and household items for your everyday needs. Found sparklers and mini fireworks that just cracked me up as you would never see those in a store in the states! Needed to get some fruit and this store had it!

This Migros is bigger than most other Migros in Basel. Especially, food court area including breads, pastries, cakes/desserts and sandwiches, pizza. If you like quiche, try one here. Cheese (Kasse) one is simple but good! It’s very cheap (only 2.60 CHF for ¼ 6 inch). All slices of cakes are very reasonable too (only 2.50−3.50 CHF) and they are quite good. They also sell donut (fluffy donut-hole looking donut).
I think this is one exceptionally cheap and good place to eat.
PS: Try to avoid 11:30 — 12:30pm. It gets very crowded.

Nearly full-service convenience store open daily until 18:30pm Mon-Fri. This is a big deal as stores tend to close early (and not be open on Sundays) in this area. Great products and decent prices. The only problem? The entire store (yes, the entire store) is closed for lunch beak from 13:00 — 14:30. Not sure why the couldn’t split breaks across the staff, but this is not one of those questions that anyone seems able to ask…
