Hotel l’Union

I tried the Restaurant Pub «l’Union» a couple days ago for lunch. The place is a little bit dark but it reminds me those Irish Bar with the dark wood used for the Bar.
Atmosphere ³⁄₅: Nothing exceptional in this restaurant. The place is a little bit dark during the days which is not something I like in a restaurant. The place looks like an Irish Bar as described earlier.
Food ³⁄₅: I ordered some Tagliatelle al a Bolognese as Menu du Jour. The Tagliatelle are coming with a Mixed Green Salad. The Salad was good with some French Dressing. The dressing wasn’t homemade but it was tasty. The Tagliatelle were OK. It was eatable but I thought the sauce was a little bit tasteless.
Service ⁴⁄₅: Service was good. The waitress came at our table right away to take our orders and she was checking with us to see if the food was alright. My sister had a Horse Steak that she couldn’t finish but the waitress made sure to ask her if anything was wrong with the steak since she couldn’t finish it.
Good restaurant for a quick lunch if you don’t have time or you don’t know where to go. There’s still better places in Lausanne.
