The food is pretty great and the service is fast. For Geneva it’s also very convenient that they are open on Sunday’s !!! There is a wide food selection, so if you have some friends that are picky eaters, the. It’s worth the go.

Très bon service et très bon burger (Le King of Demi Lune est un must try), vraiment passé une bonne soirée entre copines ! C’est par contre assez bruyant pour ceux qui aimeraient une petite soirée tranquille ;)

Toujours agréable en soirée avec des amis, dans une ambiance des mille et une nuits.
Nombreux cocktails et bières à disposition.
La journée, pour un petit repas, c’est tout aussi sympa. La qualité des plats est correcte (la vocation première n’étant pas la grande restauration).

Trendiges Restaurant, wir konnten mitten am nachmittag etwas heisses Essen. Die Speisekarte enthält auch interessante exotische Gerichte aus Nordafrika. Ganz nett, aber nicht umwerfend. Das Essen schmeckte uns gut bis recht, der Service etwas lässig/​nachlässig wie oft in grossen Städten.

We enjoyed dinner at Demi Lune last night for our weekly girl’s night and we were all fans. The food was delicious, the wine was reasonably priced, there is plenty of space, and they are open late.
I highly recommend the salmon and bruschetta starters along with the veal medallion entrée.
The only qualm I have is that the service was pretty bad for the first half of the meal.
But, based on the fact that they are open until 2am on weeknights and have a fun atmosphere along with good food, I know I’ll be back.

NIce bar in the centre of the old town, food good, drinks a little on the expensive side.

Nach einen sehr angenehmen Tag in der Genfer Altstadt, bin ich zufällig an diesem Café/​Restaurant vorbeigekommen.
Ich kann die Burger nur wärmstens empfehlen. Sie werden mit einer üppigen Protion Pomes und Salat serviert.
Man kann hier für unter 20 Franken satt werden und das in der Altstadt!!! (Bei Wahl des Beefburgers mit Sinalco Cola Zero) Ebenfalls ist der Service sehr gut, wie immer in der Schweiz oder in Österreich. Beim nächsten Genf Besuch ist steht das Restaurant oben auf der Liste.

We were there in the evening for aperitifs. Nice vine bar/​café to start the evening. The wines are good, the food is ok. The service is quick and friendly. Our waiter was very fun. There is specific atmosphere that you either like or not.

The food is good, average priced. it is not amazing, but I dont think you can expect much for the price point in Geneva. Bar service is fine. Overall pleasant place for a casual evening out with friends

I liked Demi Lune Café. First of all, they’re open for lunch on Sunday. And stay open until midnight. In fact, they stay open until 2am on weekdays. And considering they are one of not many places that are open on Sunday and offer pretty decent food, it’s not insanely crowded.
Demi Lune is located in a pretty little part of town, just by a little square surrounded by coffee shops and bakeries. The square is a great place to sit and enjoy a coffee or ice cream during the summer, but has its own quaint European village feel during the winter. The little enclave of Place du Bourg-​de-​Four accessed through cobblestone-​ish roads makes you feel like you’re farther from the city than you actually are. The restaurant itself is a pretty good mix of quaint and modern, like a place you feel comfortable frequenting without having to feel like you have to be chummy with the owner.
Everyone at our table had the burger, which comes with a side of frites or salad. Expecting a skimpy dry salad, I opted for the frites, but was immediately jealous of my lunch mates’ generous serving of luscious greens. But no complaints about the fries, they were thickly cut and crispy – I’ve been having a pretty good french fry streak lately, perhaps I was wrong in thinking that McD’s has the best fries around? :-P The burger itself didn’t look very impressive at the outset, just a small flat bun with a thin meat patty. I was also concerned that they hadn’t asked us how we wanted our burgers cooked. But I was pleased to find a nicely browned patty encasing a juicy pink center, topped with some sort of sauce. And it was just the right size. As anyone who knows me will know by now I’m not a huge fan of burgers, the thinner patty and smaller bun was actually more appealing to me than a monster-​sized gourmet burger.
I didn’t have dessert, but the chocolate ice cream was also well-​presented.
The food wasn’t amazing, but at about CHF15, you’re paying about as much or perhaps less than a burger and fries at McDonald’s. That seems to put things into perspective. Add the cozy ambiance, and you’ve got a winner. Another plus for the staff who were very accommodating of the rambunctious five year old in our party who spent most of lunch making «snowballs» from napkins and paper and throwing them across the table in a fairly loud game of snow-​basketball.

guter laden, wenn man sich unkompliziert auf was zu trinken und zu essen treffen will. immer was los, gute und schnelle selbstgemachte burger. am tisch oder auf sesseln, man kann auch nur was trinken, andere was snacken oder zu abendessen, was das ganze sehr spontan und zu allen anlaessen passend macht. zentral in der altstadt gelegen und preislich im genfer mittelfeld.

I used to go here a lot with friends in the summer holidays. We’d drink apricot juice and take a breather out of the sun. Dark blue and orange décor doesn’t necessarily sound that appealing, but here it totally works, and all surrounded by the beautiful Geneva old town. Lovely memories of this place: it’s definitely worth a find.

Nice little café full of atmosphere on the steep climb up to the old town. I had a burger which was cooked well, very tasty and had good fries with it. Pudding was also very good.
Pasta options looked nice, although didn’t get to taste.
Not open on Sunday/​Monday.

D’accord avec Piloute pour le terrain de chasse car, en dehors de cela Pour un déjeuner rapide, passez votre chemin: c’est bondé, le service est long très très long et peu affable, et les plats quelconques voire carrément pas bons du tout.
Même à l’heure du déjeuner, la seule raison d’y aller: s’y montrer pour pas trop trop cher bof !

Prendre un verre avant le dîner est à Genève un rituel social. Et dans la foule dense qui envahit l’endroit à l’heure du premier apéritif, l’ethnologue aura tout le loisir d’observer la gent féminine, rejointe par la gent masculine sûre de son dynamisme professionnel. En résumé, un terrain de chasse.

Cet endroit est très agréable, il y fait bon manger ou boire un verre, la déco est très réussie, il y a des canapés confortables. Cependant votre petit verre ou repas peut vite mal tourner si vous tombez sur l’une des serveuses absolument antipatique qui erre dans ce resto-​bar!!! Attention ou vous vous asseyez.
