Good food but service is slow. Best to not be in a hurry so you can enjoy the great pizzas and pastas.

Das Restaurant ist zwar mitten in der Altstadt und man kann schön fein draußen im Freien sitzen, aber das Essen ist eher mittelmäßig bis langweilig, dafür aber für schweizer Verhältnisse auch nicht übermäßig teuer.

Its located in the heart of the center, the food is not bad, although its Italian, not that expensive … But GOD the service is the worse. The food came late .and not that tasty. Not recommended

Molino is pretty touristy, which is why it was open on a Sunday when I was passing through. And it’s in the Place Molard, which is a pretty touristy spot. No big surprise, just about all the diners were tourists, including me! But the food is good, especially if you stick to the basics. I had a pizza Kookai, on which I asked for bolet mushrooms to be added. It was very good. They say that all the best pizza cooks in Italy come to Geneva to earn higher wages. One of these must be working at Molino as it was a very good pie. Service was acceptable, other than the waiter who shoved an English language at me just because I was speaking English to my lunch partner. I found that overly presumptuous! But the food is good. Only three stars as you can find good pizza all over Geneva.

Malheureusement pas une prestation de qualité exceptionnelle, nous y sommes allés avec des collègues un dimanche soir car il n’y pas pléthore de restaurant disponible à Genève les dimanche soir et de façon générale les Italiens sont des valeurs sûres. Sûre effectivement mais pas transcendant pour cette fois-​ci.
Le serveur a commencé par faire une erreur sur la commande des boissons, ce qui n’est pourtant pas très compliqué pour une table de cinq personnes. Peut-​être s’est-il un peu embrouillé car la table était composé de francophone et d’anglophone ?
Il n’y pas un grand nombre de plat végétariens, je me suis rabattu sur les raviolis aux épinards, ils né sont pas mauvais mais on est un peu court sur la sauce et le parmesan n’est pas non plus d’une qualité irréprochable. Aucun d’entre nous n’a été enchanté par son plat, pizza ou pâtes. Il nous a ensuite fallu expliquer un certain temps pour qu’il nous présente cinq tickets séparés, mais nous y sommes arrivés.
Si vous avez autre chose, passez votre chemin.

Italienisches restaurant einer schweizer kette, man merkt aber das franchise eigentlich nicht… Sehr gute steinofenpizzen mit super freundlicher bedienung … Preise im genfer durchschnitt… Und küche bis 24 uhr, was in genf nicht leicht zu finden ist

Too expensive. The food is just okay nothing special. I was disappointed every time I went out there. Forget this place if you want to eat real Italian dishes!

The food is so good (the only reason Im giving 3 stars) but for the price they can do better on some pizzas (received many times my pizza burned).
The service is aweful. Once we got to wait over an hour to start to eat
. the people next to us, which was a family of 5 people, arrived after us but finished their entire meal –including dessert– even before we were served anything…
then they even overcharged us an additional non-​existant appetizer.
and didnt properly apologize.

After my family checked into Ramada Hotel, we decided to dine at Molino and sit outside on the patio of We ordered two different toppings pizza and two orders of Spaghetti with Bolognese sauce and the other one was with a white sauce. It was pretty tasty.

The pizzas are excellent there and I ask myself why I don’t go there more often!
My only complaint is that the restaurant is huge and you don’t have a relaxed feeling unless going on a Sunday which is calmer. The restaurant is in the financial and shopping area of Geneva, so as Sunday everything is closed, this area is calmer. If it’s sunny, you have an excellent terrace outside! Service is very good and they are always running as the restaurant is huge for Geneva standards. I like it there mainly for its pizzas, the pastas are OKAY and the place is nothing special.

Italienische Restaurantkette in der Schweiz, aber ohne dass man die System-​Franchise Gastronomie direkt spürt.
Grosse Karte mit viel Pasta und Pizza, Tageskarte und Molinos Spezialität, die DOC Pizzen, mit besonderen Zutaten.
Essen ist sehr anständig, macht man nichts falsch mit.
Pizza zwischen 22 und 29 CHF (Genfer Durchschnitt).
Im Sommer kann man hier sehr nett am Place Molard draussen sitzen. Aufgrund der Grösse sollte man längere Wartezeiten in Kauf nehmen können.
TIP: Sonntags geöffnet!!! (wenn alles andere in der Stadt wegen Reichtum geschlossen ist)

Ein toller Italiener, Essen super, Bedienung super aber wie alles in Genf sehr sehr teuer

J’adore leurs pizza DOC, avec de la vrai mozzarela, et des ingrédients de qualité ! Leurs risotto sont aussi au top !

We stopped by for a quick Italian meal in what looked like a nice casual restaurant. The décor is quite pleasant but that is the best that can be said. The food was very ordinary and bland. The pappardelle Alfredo had a watery sauce and was almost tasteless. The spaghetti with pesto was very oily and salty. The service was poor– it took 3 requests to get a bottle of water. The price was high considering the poor quality. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Pleasant atmosphere, with flickering taper candles on every table and music at the right volume. Service is generally attentive although the servers often disappeared for long stretches of time. It took me 15min to flag down the waiter for my check after he had cleared my last dishes… I knew I had to ask for the check, but I didn’t realize he’d make it so hard for me to do so!
The special pumpkin soup was delicious, but came out with a rubber band in it which I discovered by pulling it out of my mouth. My server was mortified and brought me another, in which the crostini were so tough I almost couldn’t chew them, but I didn’t want to send it back again.
The pizza was not amazing, but decent Napoli-​style. Nice variety of toppings though there could maybe be a little more imagination.
The cappuccino was weirdly bubbly and lukewarm, as if it came out of one of those «latte * cappuccino * hot chocolate» machines rather than being brewed/​steamed by hand. The tiramisu was gooey and tasty but tasted like it came from a box.
They were kind of big on the automatic upsell, too. When offered water, they gave me pricy bottled rather than offering free tap water. When I didn’t specify the pizza size, they brought me the biggest (most expensive) without asking.
Altogether it was a good enough dinner. But for the price, I should have been more impressed with the quality than I was. However, they still get three stars for being ok food, for putting my dessert/​coffee on the house, and for being a warm, ambient place for me to eat and read on a cold, rainy night.

Such a great place to eat lunch during Summer time and take advantage of seating in the Molard Place with some italian food. I tried Molino a couple of times but the ones located in Montreux.
Atmosphere ⁵⁄₅: If it’s sunny, I would advise you to go and eat lunch there. This is the perfect spot and it is central right next to Globus.
Food ⁴⁄₅: Food was a average plus. I had some roast beefs (again) with some baked potatoes and a salad. It was good and they have some nice pizzas as well!
Service ⁴⁄₅: Great service, really helpful and friendly staff.
Enough said, you should give it a try next time you have a sunny weather in GVA.

a toiurist restaurant its true but the pizzas are excellent and the menu is vast. If you are in the city centre and you enjoy Italian food (especially on a Sunday when so much is closed) you cant do wroing coming here. Downside is the service is not good as they are very busy-​and there is an element get them in and out quick! I recommend the calzone pizza it is the best!

We arrived late in the evening and luckily this chain restaurant was right on the doorstep. We found the food was of a very high quality. The overall look of the place was very well pitched, along with good service. The only costly part of the visit was the alcohol.

Au contraire! On a eu un très agréable déjeuner là bas et on reviendra de Strasbourg!
Très bon choix de plats italiens et les serveurs sont sympas.

Meme si les pizzas sont juste sublimes, le service est a revoir completement. Cela fait baisser la note a une etoile en ce qui me concerne.

Le service était rapide et agréable. Les pizzas sont fameuses, quoi que peut-​être un peu chères, pour nous autres Français !

Einer der besten Italiener in Genf, dicht am See und auf einemß Platz mit leuchtenden Steinen gelegen.
Bedienung ist ok aber vor allem schnell. Die Zubereitung von Pizzen kann man sich live anschauen. Die Qualität der Pizza aber auch der Paste rangieren im oberen Drittel.
Ich empfehle Pizza Diavolo, aber die Große welche einer normalen nach deutschen Maßstab entspricht.

Le cadre est mieux en été qu’en hiver, mais la pizza miss italia vaut tous les détours…

Même si c’est une brasserie, la qualité est là et l’ambiance assurée par les serveurs est impeccablement italienne (disputes et chansons a capella)

This is a pizzeria chain of restaurants, and, at best, the pizza is only average. There are definitely better places to go for pizza in Geneva.

C’est toujours pareil avec les italiens, salade roquette et parmesan, pizza …, risotto et tiramisu, enfin bref une brasserie de rome délocalisé à Genève.

Personnellement très déçu des deux restaurants (molard et praille) dans l’un attente de 45 minutes avant d’avoir quelque chose a boire et l’autre pizza carbonisée et a la recherché de la garniture au bout de la deuxième fourchette
Je né recommande vraiment pas.

La carte est variée, le cadre du Molino du Molard est agréable (alors que celui de la Praille est plutôt glauque, mais en même temps, la Praille ce n’est pas très glamour) et les plats sont bons Mais je rejoins ce qui a été dit précédemment, c’est bon sans être extraordinaire.
Pour le même prix il y a moyen d’avoir de meilleures pizzas, mais dans la mesure où on a expulsé tous les restaurants des Rues Basses pour y mettre des boutiques pour Nouveaux Russes, j’encourage tout le monde à soutenir le peu de bistrots qui restent dans ce quartier moribond

The service is too slow, the food too expensive and the décor too cheep, there are much better place close by to have a good pizza or spaghetti or salad of whatever.

It wasn’t the best Italian I’ve ever had, but it was good and the service was good.

Best part is fast, efficient service. pizza is ok. not a place to get too excited about all the same, as there is better in Gva

When I go to Geneva, my friends invite me often in Molino, Pizzeria Ristorante.
Molino is a chain in Switzerland, but attention, nothing to do with food chains from across the Atlantic ! I do know that the establishment of Geneva and is a beautiful restaurant to look brewery luxury, with a beautiful and large crystal chandelier. The fast and efficient servers! And then, it’s really good: for example, green lasagna or pizza four cheeses, yum! Ah yes, for pizza, a small is already an average, then an average …
For the desert, take their famous Tiramisu!
