The setting here is very nice. Located at the top of the hill in Old Town. I’ve been here before in one of my trips to Geneva, but it had been a while. We were a party of 7 and ordered a wide array of menu items. For me I tried their Duck and it was very good and cooked just so. Desserts were very tasty and sized just big enough to have been satisfied without leaving feeling over stuffed. Wait staff was friendly and readily spoke good English, always appreciated for a language challenges traveler. Make a point of going by, tell them Joe sent you

This place gets a big nope. Visiting and don’t speak perfect French? They will put you in the basement with other English speaking people and it will be a completely awkward experience. Also, the fondue isn’t that great. This place is made for tourists. You’re welcome in advance.

This was recommended by the tourist center and I was quite excited when i finally found it after 30 min of walking. I wish I could review the food but unfortunately any good experience I might have had stopped there. Upon arriving I was greeted by a sarcastic female waiter that asked me what I want in an aggressive manner. When i replied that I would like to eat she told me the tourist center was wrong and I should find another restaurant. But the rudeness don’t stopped there, when I asked her for a suggestion for a good restaurant around she told me in an patronizing tone to go to McDonalds… I was to shocked by her nerve to even respond. Just to clarify I was dressed semi formal with a suit jacket so it should have been obvious I could afford it, and even if i were to wear jeans that is no way to speak to a customer. I have nothing to say bad against the restaurant, but the service is below any standard, and discriminating behavior of this kind should not happen in the heart of Europe.

Really nice restaurant tucked away in Geneva’s old town. Lots of people eating fondue but decided on the steak and roast beef options(both Swiss beef). Both were good. Steak was ordered medium rare and when received it was medium. Plate was sent back and no issues from the waiter which was great service. Second time around steak was cooked as requested, medium rare. Overall good place to eat if you want a Swiss food experience. Marked 4 stars as it’s a restaurant I’d recommend but I wouldn’t go again as there are lots of other places to try.

I was crazy underwhelmed by most the food/service experience I had in Geneva. But Les Armures was a treasure: great service, really cool vibe, amazing food and wine. Just an all around incredible experience. It’s pricy here, no doubt, but absolutely worth it.

JUST what I wanted — RACLETTE! I was on a two-day trip to Geneva for a WHO meeting, after not visiting that city in 29 years. After the month I spent there back in ’85, before/during/after covering the 1st Reagan/Gorby summit, I longed to return someday for the three things I learned to love that you simply cannot get anyplace *but* the French side of Switzerland: raclette, viande séchée, and fondant. Mission accomplished! I walked from my hotel near the Gare Cornavin to the Old City, and had a delightful meal in very attractive surroundings. Service was impeccable, and when I’m invited back to the WHO(which I think I will be) Les Armures will be on my must-list.

The Raclette here is phenomenal. I couldn’t stop ordering more plates. Service was outstanding. Old Geneve is quaint and beautiful and this restaurant has all the charm in the world to fit the bill.

Lovely. I have been going there since the days i used to live in Geneva, and then during my visits… This trip i have already been there twice in three days and am wondering if i should go back tomorrow. Good fondue. Simple but good. DELICIOUS tarts. So good. You should try them all… not so sweet… and the«chantilly» is just lovely… not sweet. Salads are fresh. Service real good. The only downside, touristy but sitting outside is so relaxing… and they never rush you.

Restaurant célèbre car Bill Clinton y a déjeuné.

In the old town with outdoor seating the atmosphere is perfect. The fondue can’t get better than this and the steak tartar is phenomenal. Perfect salads then deserts that will set you back a few pounds. Service was exceptional. Went back for a second round of cheese fondue on day 3 in Geneve. Too bad I didn’t have another day here.
