I have been walking by this cute little café specialising in Syrian specialities for a couple of months now. I finally had the opportunity to have a delightful lunch here today with a friend. I could see this place quickly becoming a five star favourite after additional visits. They have done a good job of taking a very small space feel inviting and warm. Their menu changes each day with whatever is freshly made up for the lunch rush. The main plat du jour included a small salad, soup, and meze selection(four different sauces to dip your pita bread in). The hummus was one of my favourites that I have had in Switzerland so far. All of this for only about 23CHF. I highly recommend the mint hot tea made from fresh mint tea leaves. For 10CHF we shared a small plate of homemade Syrian pastries. All of which were amazing and full of yummy pistachios. I loved that they were not too sweet or gooey. The owner was very friendly and spoke perfect English. The service was also amazing and quick. I will definitely be going back here to try out their Syrian coffee special and other specialities.
