Great food. Better for sharing or a snack with a drink than a full dinner but good all the same. Good wine selection and generous pours by the glass

I have walked by this restaurant on my way home after work and have been wanting to try it for sometime now. After work, it is a popular place for people to grab a quick apero and wine. It is a wine bar after all, but it is also a restaurant. I finally got a chance to try this place at lunch time. It is definitely not a place I can afford to go to lunch often, but for a special treat once in awhile, I will definitely be back. The inside has a modern, yet charming warming feel. It successfully doesn’t come off as cool and trendy as so many places like this can be. It also helps that the staff are very friendly. We took advantage of their lunch special — you can read their weekly specials on their website. We had a sandwich-​salad combo, and for only 10 francs more a bottle of water and café gourmand (espresso + 2 mini desserts of your choice). Every receives a starter of bread with a fantastic pesto basil spread that was amazing. The food itself from the sandwich to the desserts was incredible. Very fresh and fantastic flavor choices — that was refreshing after the typical Swiss food offerings you will find everywhere. If you do get coffee they offer a nice touch — on the sugar/​crème tray is also a glass jar of candies. My friend was very excited because we were lucky enough to get the tray with her favorite treats. I will be definitely coming back to try other seasonal specialties. I will keep my eye on the website to see what future specials they have. Their website says they are currently on holiday from the 21^th — 27^st. The service was also quite timely. Not the common long wait here. They offer some items for take away, have to call in advance (hours on website), a food menu, and tapas menu. Interesting hours: Monday and Sunday closed. Tue– Wed 12−2pm, 6 – 11:00pm, Thur-​Fri 12 – 2, 6 – 12:00pm (probably great place for a late night drink!), and Sat (6−12pm).
