Great food, great ambiance, great service from a great family-run true Italian restaurant. I’ve been there seven or eight times in the last year, and I enjoy it each time. Excellent pizzas and pasta, friendly service, and an Italian warm greeting and goodbye for everyone. I’ll be back.

I finally after two years got around to having lunch at this place. I have been wanting to try it out even more since I read the strong positive reviews. Today was an extra cold blustery day, and the bright colours and warm brick pizza oven in the middle of the restaurant beckoned me to enter. The restaurant inside is also very well lighted, and everything creates a very cosy atmosphere. The servers provide authentic Italian hospitality with a smile, and look like they truly enjoy their work. In the corner of your eye you can watch flying pizza dough being shaped into pizza crust and stuffed into the brick oven. I ordered the calazone calabrese, which was definitely one of the best calazones I have had in Switzerland. It was amazing, and the cheese was oozing out. I get hungry again thinking about it. My friend also ordered pizza and was very pleased with it. I would definitely revisit this place, but would have a hard time trying anything else as that calazone was just so dang yummy!

Chez Marinos, one of my first memories of Geneva all those many(12) years ago! Lets begin by saying, this isn’t the kind of place you go to get quick tasteless pizza. This is an Italian, family-run business with a great ambience. Try to make a reservation as it’s always full on a Sunday and Friday nights. The food, despite having a rather large menu, is rather good quality for the price. The pizzas are the major bonus point for this location as they are cooked right in front of you in a traditional stone oven. The toppings are all fresh and getting to see the pizza you are about to eat being made in front of your eyes is always cool. Try to get one with an egg on it, I know it sounds foul but it’s wonderful — especially from that stone oven. The owner also helps to make this a fun place to visit, being friendly to all the visiting customers, singing away in italian and telling his sons off for flirting with the customers. The deserts are also a major positive — Tiramisu and Profiteroles if you can’t decide. They are both out of this world. These guys must be doing something right, as we STILL keep going back even after these years.

This was my second visit here and I must say that its becoming a new favorite. the service is great, plus the owner is the cutest old Italian guy who sings random songs throughout the night. its a casual place that looks like a pizzeria when you first walk in however the food is more than pizza. I have eaten delicious tagliatelle here that is home made, plus the fish is fresh and tasty… I tasted this seafood dish of my husbands t hat came with mussels, clams, a fillet of some kind of white fish, calamari, etc… they served it in a huge platter and kept it on a ho t plate for his second round. I ate the arugula with Parmesan salad, which was perfect and my dinner, a veal Marsala was tender, juicy and perfectly seasoned.
