Diese kleine Feinbäckerei, nur ein paar hundert Meter vom berühmten Genfer «Jet d’Eau» (Wasserstrahl), ist auch gleich ein Teehaus und bietet einige Tische für die Gäste an, die gleich vor Ort Feingebäck oder herzhafte Sandwiches mit Kaffee, Tee, Schokolade… genießen wollen.
Die Bedienung ist freundlich und geduldig. Für Genf sind die Preise eigentlich recht bezahlbar. Das Essen selbst war ganz OK, nichts geniales oder außerordentliches aber solide und ohne schlechte Überraschung.
Also eine gute Adresse für die kleine Touristenpause zwischendurch!

Petite boulangerie-​pâtisserie-​confiserie traditionnelle, au cœur des Eaux-​Vives.
Céline et Sébastien c’est vraiment le couple qui tient ce lieu, petit mais mignon.
J’avais entendu parler à 1 ou 2 reprises de Céline et Sébastien et je dois avouer que je m’attendais à un lieu plus «différent «que ce que j’ai découvert. Le lieu m’a finalement semblé assez similaire à une boulangerie-​pâtisserie citadine ordinaire. Quelques simples tables, des journaux à disposition. À ce stade, je trouve sympathique mais pas exceptionnellement marquant.
Ensuite, une fois qu’on est à l’intérieur et qu’on regarde la vitrine en détails, ça commence déjà à se démarquer un peu plus… Les pâtisseries et confiseries appellent vraiment à l’essai ;-) Sandwiches, mignardises, tartelettes, petits pains, salades, tout à l’air particulièrement bon. Ma compagne de table pour ce petit goûter, teste THE spécialité de la maison: le Royal croquant noisette et mousse au chocolat. Il a une fine couche d’une sorte de bricelet et une mousse choco onctueuse et aérienne… À tomber.
Dernière petite cerise sur le gâteau, l’accueil est vraiment sympathique et finalement je pense qu’en plus de leurs très bonnes spécialités c’est ça qui rend Céline et Sébastien quand même différent d’une boulangerie ordinaire.
Comme quoi, même dans le monde des commerces, l’habit né fait pas le moine… Entrez et testez… :-)

Perfect lunch spot! I was extremely happy with the 9.95 CHF lunch deal (formula): I had two small sandwiches on great croissants, a drink and a pretty little pastry for dessert.
The staff were very kind and patient, and chatting with the regulars when I was there — (a clue that this spot really is a gem!) A very welcoming atmosphere!

If you’re Swiss or live in Geneva, come here for the quality of food and inexpensive prices. If you’re a tourist or student studying abroad in Geneva, come here for the charm and inexpensive European breads and treats.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the owner and workers are pleasant and friendly, and it’s busy enough to know that it’ a great place to eat. Whether you’re staying to eat (sur place) or taking it to go (emporter), everything is wonderful. The tarts, cakes, and cookies are never too sweet and are always fresh, while the sandwiches are small but full of flavor.
This café also has great breakfast or lunch combinations to suit your liking, so definitely take advantage of them. Get there early for bread and pastries, for the croissants and pain au chocolat are the first to leave the shelves.

This is one of my favorite lunch time spots. It was recently renovated so there is more seating inside, and it is easier to view all the food. Before the sandwiches and pastries were in a different area. There is also no more display window, which I truly miss, as you could clock the seasons and holidays by the different home made chocolate window displays they had — bunnies, Santa, valentines, etc. This place has a bit of everything, and it is all good: Salads, sandwiches, pastries, fresh bread, cookies, home made chocolates, home made soup of the day, tea, espresso, quiches, etc. You can eat in or take away. The staff is friendly and patient with my limited french skills. They also offer fantastic lunch menu’s (formulas). For only 9.95 CHF you can get a small sandwich, small salad/​small soup, and dessert/​drink. That’s a steal for Switzerland! This is the first great deal I came across. Usually my food tests are does the food = the price. If I find that, then I feel like I found a gem, because it is not easy to find a restaurant in Switzerland were the food truly matches the price you are paying. I get hungry just thinking about this place. I have tried their chocolate and it is fabulous as well! The hardest part about this place, is trying to decide what to get!
