Hooters Interlaken

It seems out of place when you first see it, but the day I went I was sure glad I did. The sights were phenomenal, in more ways than one. The good was just like any other Hooters but I would rate the scenery higher than that of the States. If you’re in Interlaken, and you like Hooters, you’ll like this.

Why was I not surprised. Attempting to assuage my tastebuds from their horrific rosti experience across the lake, I thought I could get a decent plate of spicy wings ad a cold beer. At the very least I assumed if the food were bad I could be temporarily distracted by Swiss Mountain Peaks at Hooters. False assumptions on all fronts. The peaks and the wings were no doubt imported from lands far to the east of here and did not survive the journey in the same condition they were in when they departed those lands. The only redeeming quality of the place is its terrace, and fortunately it is hard to screw up a cold beer– even at Hooter’s.

Hooter are really rare in Switzerland — now I know why. It’ just not the same like in the U.S.
Firstly start with the service. We ordered several pitchers and waited sometimes 12 min. to get a new one even if the restaurant wasn’t crowded. Service was friendly and tried her best, but in America they are more customer oriented and even better looking. :)
When we come to the food I donno where to start. I ordered boneless chicken wings. They werent glazed and it was horrible if you know the hooter from the us. Burgers are ok. We ordered Burgers with frites together and some received the burgers with salad.
I suggest an other restaurant if you know the hooters from outside Switzerland. Otherwise you want be satisfied.

We got 4 different burgers some of them was cold and the others not really good. And we got chicken wings and strips it was very good.

Can you believe I come all the way here and find this place? Ok well it’s what you would expert nothing more and nothing less.

Essen ist kein kulinarischer Höhenflug. Die Pouletstreifen waren zwar warm und vermutlich frisch, aber der Rest des Cäsar-​Salat schwamm in ½lt Sauce. Der Service war miserabel. Die Girls sind zwar jetzt etwas netter anzuschauen, aber völlig überfordert und sprechen/​verstehen kaum noch Deutsch. Das scheint jedoch ein Phenomen von I’laken zu sein, dass man nicht mehr in der Landessprache bestellen kann Auf Grund der Verständigung wurde uns nach langer Wartezeit das Falsche gebracht, so dass die einen bereits beim Kaffée sass, während andere noch aufs Essen warteten. In Zukunft, nein danke!

Definitely enjoyed my visit to the only Hooters in Switzerland. You did basically feel like you were in a Hooters in America, and that is a good thing. I got the Daytona Style Wings and they were amazing. Very good spice to them. The burger is also good and filling. Great beer prices.

Food is good, but staff isn’t very friendly. The prices are okay for some stuff but I don’t really recommend it like a great place.

If you are in Interlaken, this is a must stop! Great food and awesome staff! Perfect location in downtown with great views of the surrounding mountains. We met the Hooters regional manager and he was a lot of fun to hang out with during our visit. Highly recommend.
