Am Besten gefällt mir der Spaghetti Carbonara! Aber es dauert einfach zu lange bis der/​die Kellnerin das Essen bringt! Manchmal vergessen die sogar die Bestellung! Deshalb 1 Stern weniger…

The place is an excellent spot within the airport and probably the only true restaurant (the rest of the food court is for fast food places only).
The atmosphere is nice and friendly.
I enjoyed the potatoe soup and the spaghetti carbonara.
The only drawback is how slow the kitchen delivers… It took 30 minutes for me to get my starter. A soup… it’s ridiculous!

Ich war bereits ein paar mal im Upperdeck — sowohl für Essen als auch nur für ein Bier. Ich komme vor allem wegen der Lage, da es sicherlich das beste Restaurant im Flughafen ist. Wäre es nicht am Flughafen käme ich aber glaube eher nicht.
Die Bedienung war sehr langsam, dafür aber hat Burger geschmeckt!

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. I always take the same seat so to have a good view of people walking by. I’ve also taken clients here. The service is Quick and very friendly. I find the prices reasonable. They have a cool menu but I mostly stick to the salmon tartare and the ceasar salad.
This place is my own little «gift» to myself after a flight or before taking off.

Nice place just above the railway station with a bar, a lounge and a dining area as well.
There are some LED-​screens on top of the wall which show some cool informations about the airport of
zurich and the destinations all over the world.
I cannot rate the food, because I haven’t eaten there (yet) but I can say something about the service which isn’t that cool: I went there to drink a beer with my friend, he payed for us and on the way back in the train, I notice that my bag is still on the free chair I sat next to in the lounge. The next train station is 30mins away, so I need an hour minimum to get back to the airport and see if my bag with all my stuff (briefcase, iPad, keys!!) is still there!
To cut a long story short: I called the restaurant several times, they didn’t pick up the phone, so the airport information center had to pass me on to get to speak with someone of the restaurant. Finally I could describe the incident to a waiter and ask him to check, if the bag is still there. He negated. One hour later I was back in the lounge and THE BAG WAS STILL THERE! On the same free chair I forgot it on and described it to the waiter.
All told: if the waiter would’ve really checked if my bag was still there (even if he had enough stuff to do with all the customers) this would have left a positive impression of the restaurant, which I definitely would tell my friends about. But now it’s too late…

Surprisingly good for an airport restaurant! Prices are typical Zurich prices; service was attentive and came to check on us a couple of times throughout the meal.
We ordered the clam chowder and the pulpo (squid) to share. Coming from the States, this clam chowder was nothing like what I expected (instead of a thick white soup, you get a clear broth with clams in it), but amazingly delicious all the same. The broth was salty and buttery with a small smattering of vegetables, and the clams were oh-​so-​tasty. The garlic bread that came with it was great as well, though perhaps a little soggy (it was placed above the soup and thus had some time to steam), and went well with both the soup and the herb butter (if that’s what that was) out came with.
The pulpo was a HUGE dish. You get three huge tentacles that are tender AND crispy, presented over a bed of steamed cucumber, with grilled tomatoes and lentils on the side.
White wine was also pretty good, and was recommended with the meal courtesy of our waitress. I had a good experience here overall, and would recommend giving this place a try if you have some time to kill while waiting for your flight.

The location is great, as it is right insight the Airport center above the train station.
Ambience is ok, a bit noisy as it is open space, but still ok for talking.
The food on the other hand did not impress me.
I had the Spaghetti carbonara. The pasta was over cooked and the sauce was flat/​tasteless. My friend had the grilled salmon, which was good. So it might just have been a bad choice. Next time I’ll try some of the grilled meat, which looked fine. And it might still be better than the fast food corner across the hall ;-)
The service was friendly but really slow. Took me a while to order and to re-​order drinks. Luckily I was not in a hurry.

Gutes Essen; Schlechter Kellner. Das Essen ist gute und nicht so teuer (für Zürich). Unser Kellner hat uns 1 falsches Getränk gebracht, hat vergessen einem anderen Getränk zu bringen und hat mir die falsches Hauptgereicht gebracht. Aber wann wir endlich gekriegt hat was wir haben bestellt, schmeckt es super gut.

Wir waren am Abend der Eröffnung im Restaurant. Das Essen war sehr gut. Die Speisen sind ausgefallen und sind lecker. Den Burger kann ich empfehlen. Die Preise sind jedoch saftig und auch wenn die Speisen gut sind etwas zu teuer.
Das Personal kannte die (kleine) Speisekarte noch nicht und musste nachschauen ob unsere Bestellung auch wirklich in der Karte ist. Sie waren sehr nervös und unsicher. Die Wartezeit war ok, aber grundsätzlich sollte man besser Geduld mitbringen. Der Service liess alles in allem zu Wünschen übrig, der Burger hat aber alles wett gemacht.
