Really enjoyed my food, nice tofu but high prices(for BIO product apparently, though I’m not so sure about the veracity of that claim) and unprofessional owner. Over crowded at lunch time, avoid at all cost and prefer off peak hours. Also, take cash, preferably A LOTOFIT… How inconvenient to make prices that high and not accept payment by card?

We were a party of 5 yesterday at 1pm and we were looking for a new place in town. The luncheonette being very small, there was no more room for us. As we were about to leave the waitress told us there was room downstairs. The luncheonette shares a space with a spa(!). We went down the stairs to find 3 tables and chairs arranged in one corner of the spa. There was a spa-like atmosphere with dimmed light. It felt very weird. The menu is mostly healthy meals, wraps, salads, soups, smoothies and fresh juices. We ordered a wraps and salads. The prices were fair but we were disappointed by the taste. It all tasted very dull. The salad leaves were enormous and not cut, which wasn’t easy to eat. At all. On someone’s napkin there was a tiny drop of blood and I found a hair in my salad. Most probably from the blond waitress who waited on us. Eh? I may give it another shot for a fresh juice or a smoothie but yesterday’s experience set the deal with the food.

It’s a very small self-service café in downtown Lausanne where we once had lunch. We ordered tasty vegetable tofu wraps served with salads and we enjoyed fresh iced tea drinks. Few tables they have are closely spaced that while eating we each time were disturbed when somebody passed by! Service was irritating and prices are averaged.
