Lucky us. We found this restaurant by chance after reading something on the web. We arrived without reservations(could have been a bad mistake due to the apparent popularity) but because we were early the proprietor, Willie, sat us quickly… With the warning that he had to have the table at 8:30. This was funny since it was just two of us and it was only 6:30. We had the beef fondue with pomme frites and the quality was outstanding. Could cut it with a fork it was so tender. Served with four sauces: fresh garlic, curry, cocktail and tartar. With a bottle of Gigondas and three glasses of other reds, our bill came to about $ 175CHF. Service was excellent with all four servers willing and able to attend to our requests. The restaurant is small and was nearly empty when we sat down. By the time we left it was hopping and many kisses were exchanged with Willie when new guests arrived. Good indication of a local spot frequented by locals. We would certainly go back.

Excellent restaurant traditionnel vaudois, des fondues, du gibier, de bons petits vins locaux. Le service est hyper chaleureux, l’ambiance est conviviale. tout à fait comparable à la Pinte à Besson, en tout cas recommandé par eux quand ces derniers sont complets

Un bon restaurant de cuisine suisse traditionnelle. La fondue est une des meilleures que j’ai pu goûter dans ce pays. Bonne adresse pour le touriste égaré qui recherché du typique dans son assiette.
