Restaurant le Saxo

Upon arriving at the hotel we dropped our stuff and headed out to make use of our Swiss pass before it expired. After finishing our activities we headed here because it was recommended by the hotel. I recommend «non».
I can deal with neither the menu nor the waitress speaking English. This is Switzerland. It would have been nice to have English, but I“m not so ethnocentric that I expect the entire world to accommodate me with English. (The waitress spoke Spanish… Better than me. But the menu was a guessing game.)
We managed to place our orders with some confidence about what we’d get. After a long wait the food arrived. The meat wasn’t cooked as ordered, and it had a lot of gristle. Fries were excellent. Service was slow and inattentive.
As I said…“non”. If someone directs you to the restaurant in the casino…“non”. I’m sure you can do better here.
The only good thing I have to say is that the view of Lake Geneva was nice.

Le plus ancien bar gay de Lausanne: une véritable institution! Soirée Kara-​aux-​Gays, ambiance variable. Un endroit éminemment sympathique si l’on n’y va pas trop souvent. Sinon, c’est parfois lassant. Public varié et surtout Jacques: le patron à la voix de stentor!
