Great Italian food that keeps us going back for more. Sadly no view of the lake but it sits in a side street off the historic Hertensteinstrasse and is a very convenient location. They have a daily fixed lunch menu which is good value for money. Last Friday there was a choice of two entrees (salad or soup) and one of three main courses last friday ranging from ccCF 22 for the Steinpilze (porcini mushroom) filled Ravioli to Dorade (Bream) in almond coating Or steak 27(for the «carni» option) good value or you can choose from an extensive a la carte menu but that can get quite pricey. Wine list is good and also reasonable. You can buy wine by the glass as well. Very friendly and competent italian maitre D and italian waiters make for a genuine italian experience in down town Lucerne. It s recently been completely renovated and Décor is very elegant with lots of original paintings and sculptures by a Rolf Brem a famous son of Lucerne.

Delicious food, friendly service, and a beautiful
place! It was a great restaurant to find during a rainy evening. The patio was covered and it was a cozy and romantic setting for a tasty meal.
We started with the Antipasti which was a delightful assortment of meats and cheeses and olives and sun-​dried tomatoes and other assorted delicacies. It was served with wonderful crusty bread with flavorful olive oil for dipping. Definitely enough for two of us to share.
Then for entrees I had the house-​made spinach and ricotta ravioli with browned butter and sage, and my boyfriend had salmon over lemon risotto. Both were fresh, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and seasoned just right.
I had a glass of Pinot Grigio and my boyfriend had two glasses of Swiss beer… and the check came to around $ 94 chf. Not bad for Lucerne.

Die Bedienung war schnell und freundlich aber nicht wirklich aufmerksam. Das essen war gut. Nur für einen gemütlichen Abend zu 2 nicht unbedingt geeignet. kaum Pausen zwischen den Gängen. So das der Abend leider viel zu schnell vorbei war. ;-)

Schoenes italienisches Restaurant. Das Essen ist gut und die Ambiente angenehm. Ein sehr schoener Sahl. Einfaches Menu — waere toll, wenn das Menu etwas oefter wechselt. Das ist ein Restaurant fuer jeden Anlass.
