Das Restaurant ist ziemlich gross und dennoch fanden wir nur mit Mühe einen Platz. Eher dunkel hier drinn.
Ich dachte mir, wenn es hier so voll ist, muss das Essen auch gut sein. Ich bestellte den Cheesburger (dazu bekommt man Salat und Pommes). Das Fleisch war auf den Punkt gegrillt, saftig und frisch, mit echtem schweizer Käse. Leider war es für mich zu viel, ich konnte nicht alles essen, aber das lag nicht an der Qualität sondern an der Menge. Die Tomatensuppe und der Salat waren eher durchschnittlich. Pommes/​eher Potates waren frisch.

I was craving something hearty and savory and boy did I find it at the Brown Cow Pub. You must come here if you’re in Zermatt and craving for a burger. The Zermatter with an egg is absolutely amazing. The meat is so tasty topped with a fresh golden yolk egg is phenomenal. The burger is paired with a small cole slaw salad and fries (of course!). The fries were decent (I like mine a bit more saltier and crispier) and the salad was a nice fresh side.

Great place for burgers and fries! Affordable and reasonable prices! They have hot dogs, wings, and nachos as well. Really good place for when you want something other than the typical Swiss or Italian fare for lunch. Also have veg options such as salad and soups and veggie burger. They also have a make your own sandwich option which is rare for Switzerland :)

Well where do I start. It was a long day up at the mountain and I was in search of a cold one. Stumbled across the BCP and I was happily surprised with the find.
Great ambience. Burger was great and the prices reasonable.
Looking for a no frills pub with food at reasonable prices with great staff. Look no further … You found it.

This place is great for burgers, but not traditional food. It started raining/​snowing while walking in Zermatt when it was time to kill my hypoglycemia, and many other places were closed because May is the off season — so we checked it out.
The Swiss burger and Mexican burger were both excellent. A major plus was crunchy fries! My sister and I each grabbed a Schneider Weisse as the draft list was quite limited. Not a great place for beer, despite it being a bar.

I met 4 Aussies drinking here one night on the tail-​end of a pub crawl. We never left the place.
Lot’s of good fun, friendly people and good drinks at fair prices, considering it’s right under the Matterhorn.
Just remember you are drinking at high altitudes and can’t hold as much as you usually can at sea level. You have been warned…
