I’m quite a frequent traveler to Zurich and have stayed in a couple of beds(no pun intended). If you’re not planning on spending a fortune of Swiss Francs per night, be prepared to end up in a rather small, depressing room. Also, for the amount of money you pay for a 3-star in Zurich you can easily enjoy a 4-star in almost every other European city. Just pointing out. Pro’s and Con’s about Hotel Limmathof: + Location: very central near the Main Train Station, near the historic Niederdorf district + Clean rooms + Has a wine bar /restaurant and a living room /lounge to chill — Wifi is free but not accessible in every room — One-bed rooms are small and dark — No water heater /coffee in the room I paid about 90CHF(120USD) for a night in this 3-star hotel, off-season. As the room was really tiny I didn’t want to do much more there than just sleeping. Price and value are okay for Zurich.
