Walked passed here Sunday and thought, I should try this place out. So here i am, finding myself getting take out lunch from here on a Wednesday, just a few days later! I got their coconut curry and was hoping it would be tasty and flavorful but instead to find myself tremendously disappointed. :(I wanted to like this place since the guy working here was super nice and friendly, so yea A+ for service. But for food… I’d say it’s a C. I can’t help it since the curry was extremelyyyyy bland and tasteless. No taste. At all. Mushroom, no taste. Curry, no taste. I don’t know what more to say but that it was tasteless. Maybe their other dishes are better? But I probably won’t be giving their other options a try for quite some time. Kinda bum that it wasn’t good because having a good lunch = having a good day. Right now, I am having a very tired day. lol

We stopped in to HEAT for a quick bite while we were visiting Honk Kong. My sister lives in the city and we wanted to grab food in this area before going to get pineapple cakes. There was a lunch set menu that was 2 courses with a drink. We started with spring rolls, which were delicious but nothing special and I ordered the Bahn Mi. The sandwich was delicious and very flavorful. My friends ordered the phở, which was delicious and we washed all this down with some lemon iced tea. Overall, a nice experience with wonderful english-speaking servers, but nothing to write home about. We definitely had much better food in this foodie capital.
