Went there for tea on weekday with a long-​time-​no-​see friend. Made reservations and booking payment a few days ahead. honestly I felt annoyed with the «admin work» ahead of time cos u know afternoon tea is for us to chill out. it took us some time to get there in a hot n sunny day cos the location is quite tricky. once we got there, we were amazed by the setting, very english n girlish. only two of us on that day so it’s quiet enough for us to laugh and catch up.
the waiter first gave tea samples for us to choose. after we made up our mind, she introduced the tea. (hmm of cos we can’t remember what she said lol)
the tea set overall is very good. the scones are not huge, so the portion is suitable for girls to finish everything (u know what i mean: P) not too sweet. everything tastes good n looks good.
wonderful tea place that we would recommend everyone to give it a try;)

:note: this place is by appointment ONLY and i highly recommend finding your way with ample time because it is tucked between some alleys

upon entering, the small reception area showcases the goods that can be purchased before or after your tea… little delights to take home
through a narrow doorway, the next room is much like the intimate living room of one’s house… the space is extremely limited… probably seats 10 people maximum
the décor, place setting, and reading material are super genuine! there is even a pamphlet that explains the origin of high tea… the term comes from the high tables in which people of the upper class dined
correspondingly low tea is consumed on the shorter tables of the working class

they are extremely strict with their appointments because they treat the patrons with care
the devil is in the details and they do a wonderful job of anticipating needs and explaining things

a delicious snack to consume while you make important decisions:
tea selection is curated from a variety of places around the world
deliciously tiered servings of cakes, sandwiches, and scones!
i rarely like everything i eat for high tea, but the antique patisserie accomplished it!^^
