This is a local spot you would not find if you didn’t know about it, it’s not hard to find but not in a section surrounded by other restaurants. But you should seek it out. It has several indoor tables and some outdoor seating as well. The food was simply delicious. I had already had the best mussels of my life but these were about as good as those and that’s saying a lot. The tomato salad was beautiful and tasty beyond belief — sliced fresh tomatoes, onions and bonito(tuna) with excellent balsamic vinegar. So simple but incredibly delish and the bread at that place is, as in most of Galicia, dreamy. We saw a lot of other great looking food go by — croquetas, ensalada russe, fish, etc. The best was the menu — handwritten on a notebook. I don’t know if they do that every day but we loved the(well-executed) idea of the chef deciding what he wanted to make that day based upon what was fresh. Anyone who knows the food in Galicia knows that you can get spoiled fast with the farm fresh potatoes, veggies, and eggs and of course the fish seafood which often requires no seasoning at all, just a simple preparation. This place is the perfect example of the amazing food that is typical of this area of Spain.
