All-you-can-eat buffet for 13,50 €(on a Wednesday night). Located in the back of a bar, El Puma does not pretend to be anything other than a display of the cheapest version of a dish you can imagine. But if you can get past the saltiness of the food then you’ll be able to enjoy the wide selection of choices. The buffet includes a tapas bar, salad bar, a grill(with steak, pork, lamb, and sausages), and desserts. I tried almost everything and rated the dry meat and the paella the highest, but couldn’t get over how salty the non spicy sausage was. The meat was not bad at all. Didn’t make it to the desserts. No tap water(bottles only) and weak draft beer selection(only Estrella) as far as drinks go.

After searching all over Barcelona for something to eat, we decided on going to this Buffet where we can try a bit of everything. You really can’t go wrong here. Everything we had wad good and you definitely can’t beat the value. All You Can Eat steaks and sausages cooked right in front of you. My only regret is that we didn’t find this little gem earlier on our trip. I highly recommend it for anyone traveling to Barcelona.

Buffet libre a buen precio. La comida muy buena. Todo muy bien presentado. Los postres excelentes.

Those plates you expect to be warm like paella and fideua and tortilla are cold and with little flavor. The salad bar is a poor representation of salads well known in Spain. The fresh grilled meat is really their only salvation. Spend your money elsewhere.

Unos 10 €, bebidas a parte. Empezaría y no acabaría.

El Puma would have earned 4 stars from us if the service had been as good as the food. For buffet food, it was really quite good and predominantly fresh. The service, on the other hand, was horrific. Our server clearly wanted to be somewhere else and did not want to be bothered by us and was very irritated that we spoke English. We paid $ 20 euro for the buffet and $ 3 euro for water… very reasonable for the quality of the food. But, wow, the service really was bad.

Normal experience. Buffet-restaurant in the University area of Barcelona; for 15 euros you could have a definitely huge choice(around 80 meals) of traditional Spanish dishes. Ideal for groups because the restaurant is spacious: tables for two as tables for twelve guests. Frequented by both tourists and Spaniards. The variety of starters, first and second dishes, is awesome(Paella, Empanadas, Pimiento de Piquillo, Catalan Cream, …). But the quality of these courses its low. I only racommend this restaurant to those are wishing to enjoy a good roast: choritzo of various types, morcilla, steaks and pork chops; a chef roasts in front of you all the meat you want. Expensive drinks; «Sangria» is not recommended. Nada especial. Bevande costose; sangria sconsigliata.

I loved this place mainly because of the variety of their buffet. It introduced me to many tasty Catalonian cuisine specialties. I will definitely go back whenever I’m in Barcelona.

Excellent buffet to try Catalan and Spainish food. We heard about a 10 Euro buffet(normally 20) and thought it was a trick to get you into the door and gore you with crazy drink prices and service charges, however, this was not the case at all. Our large party entered the restaurant and there was only another table occupied. This made us quite worried especially walking by a large selection of food on the way to the be seated. There’s no way this place would make all this food and not have any business. So anyway, we ordered a pitcher of Sangria for 12 Euros(not bad) and proceeded to the buffet line. I skipped all the«bread» tapas to avoid being too full to try everything. I have to say the food was delicious and hot. I didn’t touch anything on the salad/appetizer food table and I was so full from the evening. A nice surprise was the grill where the master would cook to order any of the beautiful protein laid out. The staff and service was great. Don’t miss the freezer packed with ice cream bars and cups. Wow, what a great experience for 10 Euros. Don’t miss this place if you’re ever in Barcelona. I don’t think we saw a single tourist there … except for each other. Oh, and by the time we left the place, the restaurant was packed with patrons! I only wish we had hit this place on our first day so we didn’t need to spend crazy money on fancier tapa bars.

For an all you can eat buffet, this place is pretty top notch! I’m giving it 5 stars in comparison to other buffet restaurants in Barcelona, Based on food, quality, and service. They had a very impressive selection of food. Cuts of meat(prepared on the grill, to order), and they even had things that I don’t normally see at buffets. They had beef cheeks, and they were SOTENDER! Paella, fideua, and the salad bar was quite extensive. I wish I had enough room in my tummy to sample it all… but I guess that’s what return visits are for. I went on a discount coupon, for 50% off, so it was completely worth it. I think even for 20 euros it’s still worth it. The drinks, however were quite expensive. 2.50 for a bottle water or soda. Overall, I enjoyed the food and the staff were very friendly and attentive, and they ccleared plates very quickly. I had a really great experience and I know this won’t be my last time visiting El Puma

Double WoW !! I have to agree with my fellow Unilocale, MAEQUS R, this a one great place to start feasting. There is fish, meat, and chicken. Everything is fresh and the dessert buffet is great save room for the coconut flan. They have two types of paella, rice and one I never had a fine noodle one. Both were great. They will make you a grilled made to ordered steak on their grill. Its located off the main track but very easy and very safe to get to. The prices are great too. If you come during the week the price was only 13 euros. I went their twice with Unilocaler Marqus and he enjoyed it as much as I did. The staff was very friendly and took away our dirty dishes as fast as we could empty them. do make the trip to this great place and then have a nice walk, its Thanksgiving Dinner Barcelona. Note** Don’t say you are in Spain, I was corrected 4 times for saying Barcelona, Spain. Where I was in the restaurant and the city were great

Wow! Some of the very best food and by far the best bargain easy on the traveler wallet deal in all of Barcelona. Delicious lamb chops, cuts of meat, mussels and all kinds of assorted food can be found at this«all you can eat» buffet. It’s a foodies dream come true and at a bargain of a price. Located near the university it is usually packed with a younger heavy eating group so the buffet food turns over quickly. Compared to the prices elsewhere, this is a bargain, particularly considering the quality of food which would go for three times as much anywhere else and you’d get less of it.
