Morgan’s Tavern

Bueno, bueno, bueno! Uno de los mejores ratos musicales que he pasado en mucho tiempo! Me resulta difícil comentar tan solo el recinto después de haber presenciado uno de sus espectáculos pero lo intentaré. En una zona absolutamente repleta de locales con actuaciones en directo es complicado elegir en cual entrar por lo que no queda otra que mirar los carteles donde se anuncian las actuaciones y tener la esperanza de acertar con la decisión. Lo bueno del Morgan´s es que como local es también de lo mejorcito, pues es grande, está muy bien decorado y hay siempre un ambientazo excelente, eso si, «guiri». En esta ocasión las actuaciones que pudimos presenciar fueron la de un homenaje a Elton John, la de dos hermanos que imitaban a una serie de grupos del panorama internacional y la de un grupo llamado One Vision que hacen su particular homenaje a Queen, como habréis podido deducir de su nombre los QueenFans. Esto hace que la calidad de espectáculos en este local esté por encima de la media pues son tres de los mejores artistas que se pueden encontrar entre la innumerable oferta de la zona, consiguiendo que puedas pasar tres horas de diversión y espectáculo sin salir del mismo sitio. Si vais por Benidorm, pasáis por el Morgan´s y veis que van a tocar One Vision no lo dudéis, no os dejará indiferentes, os guste o no os guste Queen. En definitiva, un sitio mas que ideal para empezar la noche, tomar unas cervecitas e ir cogiendo el pulso a la noche benidormense.

Morgans Tavern (famous for the name Neptunes in the Benidorm t. v series) All I can say is fantastic shows, good booze and pleasant hard working staff.
Worth a visit and they don’t hassle you to finish your drinks and move on so they can get the front row seats cleared. you can literally stay all night for the price of one drink (if you wanted to that is)

My partner had his wallet stolen by 6 easten block girls/​prostitutes/​gypsies, that had surrounded him, he knew that they had taken his wallet and asked for it back, I meanwhille went in Morgans and asked them to call the police… they wouldn’t??? The theives were still outside when I went back outside, my partner followed them hoping that he might find a police car on the way, he didn’t. Since then I heard that the previous night another coulple in their 60’s and 70’s were surrounded by these theives and shouted at them to leave them alone, they were on their guard because the night before that, they had seen the same thieves surround a man the worse for wear, and backed off when this couple appeared. The couple have seen the thieves going in and out of Morgans. BEWARE… Why wouldn’t they ‘phone the police for me???

Can get very crowded in peak seasons but it does provide some of the funniest acts in Benidorm. The acts are in general suitable for children. However the location of the toilets and the size are very bad, they are small and directly next to the stage.

Morgans is a fantastic bar/​entertainment venue.
Like the hotel sol pelicanos ocas this also fetures in the comedy ‘benidorm’ as the ‘captains table’ nightspot
Every night they have 5 – 6 diffrent acts on varying from tribute bands to sticky vicky to comedy acts.
The bar itself looks like a boat from the outside with lots of wood and ship based memorabilia inside.
