I had a truly gourmet meal at 1230 at night here in cadiz. I was starving and almost everything was closed. With a good amount of luck i found this spot still roaring with a party of 20+ in the back. I told them i was a party of 1 and was immediately seated and ordering. Everything was spectacular and of high quality! The bill came out so shockingly cheap i left a hefty tip. I will return every time im in cadiz for sure. I also fogot to mention its very cozy and nicely furnished inside.

The food is amazing here. The octopus tender and grilled perfection, the tuna in soy sauce was melt in your mouth amazing and the goat cheese salad with red fruits awesome, not to mention the goat cheese with tomato jam. OMG GOOD. We like this place, minus the chicken curry. The Thai rice with the chicken curry excellent but the chicken needed to be stewed dark meat not chicken breast and much more curry flavor. Over all, i would eat here in a heart beat and love it. Even the vino choice was excellent with the food. And the cost? We ordered 8 ½ sizes and 6 glasses of vino for 55 Euros, a steal in the USA where this meal would cost you around $ 200. Eat here is all i say. If you love food, you’ll love this place.

Si quieres comer bien, lo que se dice bien, con una calidad de primera y una originalidad no reñida con la cantidad, este sitio no te dejará indiferente.
Su pescado es algo sensacional, así como su atención y su ubicación. Voy a recordar durante mucho tiempo esa caballa a la plancha, esos tomates fritos con queso de cabra, ese pulpo…
El precio muy razonable para lo buenísimo que está y lo bien elaborado. Sin duda alguna un sitio donde volvería.

Es sorprendente encontrar sitios céntricos donde las tapas o la carta en general no esté hecha por y para los turistas.
Probamos el pescado fresco a la plancha una de sus especialidades, realmente bueno, pulpo con mouse de patata, ensaladilla de pulpo, tomates fritos con queso y varios platos más, todos riquísimos.
La atención excelente, simpatía a raudales, buen servicio y precio más que razonable.
Uno de los mejores recuerdos de Cádiz.

De reciente apertura, el viajero del merkao es un local con una carta de tapas y platos exóticos y muy interesantes.
Una combinación de platos muy bien presentados con unos precios muy ajustados.
Sentarse en las mesas de fuera es una opción muy recomendable.
