On a recent trip to my birthplace in Chipiona, Cadiz, Spain, my mom, dad and I had the pleasure of eating at El Toro restaurant in Chipiona. Although not the best place that we ate at during our stay, I must say that the local flare of this eatery kept my interest.
I had the heuvos, pestcado and patatas frietas, these, although simple, were absolutely fantastic. What proves this is that my father isn’t a huge fish fan, and he finished his meal literally to the bones.
The locale is fantastic, located on the boardwalk in Chipiona, and dining on the Atlantic in the spring is incredible.
The wait staff were great, they were exceptionally friendly and patient (my Spanish is elementary at best).
I hope that if my children want to see where dad was baptized (just down the boardwalk), I would love for them to enjoy this restaurant with me.
