Simply the best French Cuisine all of Spain. The owner, Giselle made the dining experience so spectacular, I thought I was in a private dining room! Her husband«phenomenal» chef! I ate a glorious meal while they cranked, James Brown, «The Big Payback». If you’re looking for hip, chic, modern, and first class sophistication with a twist during your visit to Ibiza… look no further!

In my opinion, Pastis is one of the best restaurant where you can eat in Ibiza town. It mixes French traditional cuisine to fusion culinary creations. The wine list is simply outstanding thinking you are on a small balearic island. Nestled between the old town and the famous plaza del parque, the venue is quite small with 36 seats only(be sure to book your table before 8pm 0034971391999). Imagine you are actually eating inside the kitchen as there is no separation between where Armel(chef) and his brigade cook and the floor. Do not be afraid with odors, the place has a powerful air extractor, so strong that sometimes it is even difficult to open the door to get out. But most of the people are going to this 5 star restaurant for it’s atmosphere. The clientele is mainly compound of friends of Armel and Gisele the owners. The intimistic place looks like a Parisian bistrot with a New York touch, very jazzy. Every time I go there thinking having a nice dinner it finishes with a pantagruelic feast(ok the chef is my friend), always meeting very nice people like artists, Dj’s, painters, politicians or normal people like me. My favorite dishes are the snails from Bourgogne with parsley and garlic, the entrecôte with its homemade béarnaise sauce, the grilled veggies and of course the traditional steak tartar sauce Pastis or Cognac !!! If you like sweets, try the traditional crème brûlée, you will fall in love. As the zone is quite busy, it always hard to find a parking is the part of the center. Do not hesitate to find space a few street outward the area of plaza del parque then get a cab, it is very cheap.
