There are many cute tabernas y restaurants along calle Navas, so choosing one be difficult. On this morning we tried Restaurante Marisol. Like most places along this road, they’ve got both inside y outside seating available. The place is clean, and the person in charge is a sweet old lady… aka jefe who is always cooking up a storm kitchen. For food we decided to order tapas and have a light breakfast. With our vaso de vino tinto it included sweet bread with some veggies on top. quite interesting. Aside from that we ordered bread with queso, camarones aka shrimp, pan con jamon iberico aka Iberico ham, and patatas Bravas. potatos. Overall all dishes were delicious, and neatly presented. The service was spectacular… great job

Such a wonderful hidden gem in a row of generic restaurants! This charming restaurant is ran by a warm and friendly woman, who you will find whipping up a delicious jar of sangria and interacting with guests. You leave feeling like you’ve had a meal at home. The restaurant is affordable and has daily specials listed. Great for vegetarians and pescetarians alike. A must try when I’m Granada.

Some of the most authentic tapas that you will find in Andalucia. Fantastic service and reasonably priced(there are always deals listed). This place has been in business for 40 years and the current owner has been running it for the past twelve. The other restaurants on the block are relatively monotonous(the menus tend to be the same). This is the true Granada experience and is worth the visit. Vibe is casual and relaxed(nothing overtly flashy or over the top). Good for groups and the vegetarian paella is fantastic. In true fashion, paella needs to be ordered a few hours in advance as it is cooked to order. There might be some leftover and available as a tapa(which the two of us found to be more than filling) — check with the server if interested. This is one of the best places in Granada.
