Very attractive bar, quite upscale, on a nice side street. The crowd is well-heeled and not overly kinetic. The bar is quite nice, and the bartenders are great guys. I have already eaten dinner, so I ordered a Pedro Ximenez reserve sherry. It is only € 2.50 here and includes some wonderful tapas. My first tapa was a slider, I think of pork, that was quite delicious and came with 4 – 5 excellent papas fritas. The second was an egg with bacalao and a lovely saffron sauce. Two sherries and all that came to under € 5. I guess the second drink was discounted? A great place. Try it!

Nice wine selection and they let you taste before pouring. I didn’t like one wine, so they let me taste another. Free tapa was a delicious slider. I ordered an Ensalada Pollo(chicken salad). Very nice and enough to feed 2 people. I couldn’t finish it.

Man, I am super torn about La Botillería. Everything I ordered was amazing. Everything my fiancée ordered was hot garbage. Going in, you should know these are NOT tapas. Everything is a pretty big portion. We ordered too much food. For me, the white jamon was p.h.e.n.o.m.e.n.a.l. A half-portion was 7 €. It came with bread drizzled in olive oil. Heavenly. I also had the skewered chicken(10.50 €) with mushrooms and cheese sauce. Simply mind-blowing. Every chunk of chicken was juicy and flavorful. I loved it. It came with grilled green peppers and red onions and some awesome french fries. My fiancée struck out hard, though. She tried the battered artichokes(9.90 €) and they were basically inedible. They tasted like nothing except the breading. She also ordered the chicken fingers with mustard sauce(9.90 €) Again, the most flavorless nightmare that has ever been thrust upon chicken. She also tried the cheese balls(1.75 € each, minimum of two.) and they were fried, battered, flavorless disasters. They tasted like cotton balls. All three of my fiancée’s terrible dishes came off the«hot starters» menu, so I guess you should avoid that like the plague. Our waiter was not good. We asked for second glasses of wine that never game until we reminded him again ten minutes later. He also dropped a wrong plate of food in front of us — one that contained baby eels(vomit). I almost tasted one, thinking they were noodles, but he luckily recognized the error before I bit into one. If you ordered what I did, you would think La Botillería can do no wrong. If you order what my fiancée did, you would think La Botillería was conceived in a laboratory to make humans hate what they put in their mouths. Bizarre.

Unilocal to the rescue! My Spanish is pathetic so I won’t try. Quickly escaped the cruise ship crowd. Food and service amazing and a nice local crowd. Goat cheese croquettes and tomato salad delicious. The fee tapas was what I’ll butcher and call a pork slider — amazing. Rioja definitely hit the spot and helped with attitude adjustment before heading back to bus. Without finding this spot I think I would have killed someone on this tour :(

The free tapas were so delicious at La Botilleria that we had to stay for a second drink to see what would come out of the kitchen next! La Botilleria is owned by the same owners at La Tana so if you like La Tana you will love La Botilleria! La Botilleria is a much larger bar so they offer more seating and a larger selection of hot and cold tapas. My sister and I ordered a glass of red Spanish wine from the Rioja region and my husband ordered a glass of Cruzcampo Cerveza, a local Spanish beer from Sevilla. After our drinks were poured a waiter served us the traditional plate of free tapas. Our first tapas were a dish of olives and a plate of mini burger sliders and papas fritas. The food was so good that we decided to order another drink as well as plate of the Iberian jamon. Our second serving of free tapas was a bowl of delicious paella. The food and wine were so good and the staff was so friendly at La Botilleria. Our bartender didn’t speak English, but she was very patient with my failed attempt to speak Spanish. «Un vino más, por favor!»

Wonderful experience. The iceberg lettuce salad and salmon salad are both excellent, if a bit heavy on the salt. The white jamón is good, and even a half order is a lot. The battered artichokes are yummy — the batter has sweet corn in it, giving it a nice sweet bite. The fried goat cheese balls with walnuts are very nice; one is more than enough for one person. Our server brought bonus tapas of sardines on fresh tomato and olive oil on toast, and it was outstanding. We also tried the brownie and the ice cream — both of which were very good. The ice cream was unique in style and flavor. Our server was attentive and efficient, and he timed courses well without being intrusive. He also alerted us that our initial order was too much food, and he managed our limited Spanish well. The space seemed to be filled mostly with locals rather than tourists.

Free tapas, as per usual. Paella & bread with our drink orders. A little bit classier of a place(compared to the Tabernas). If you’re looking for nice ambiance, this place has it. Mostly locals.

This was my boyfriend and my last dinner in Granada. We are staying nearby on Calle Navas and wanted a place that had a classy atmosphere, good wine, and quality free tapas that isn’t on Calle Navas. This place exceeded our expectations on all three counts. The free tapas were absolutely delicious, the service was beyond excellent, and with 8 glasses of wine,(they only charged us for 7 I think) and the salmon salad, it cost less than € 35 total. We came on a Sunday around 20:00 and there were only 2 other tables of people. By 21:30, the whole front room and a few tables outside. were full. Go here. It’s awesome. It was a great way to end our trip to Spain.

Easily the best tapas I’ve had in Spain after starting in Madrid and heading to Granada. I ordered a tea and a wine(I think it was chinchilla 6+6?) And my boyfriend ordered 2 beers. We were served jamon blanco, jamon iberico, and chicken curry with French fries. It was delicious! We sat outside on a pleasant November day. We could watch the people, cars, bikers, children, and even the restaurant across the way making fresh pasta. Prices were reasonable and service was friendly. They also accept credit cards.

We recently had a lovely lunch with wine here. I loved the service, the quiet atmosphere and the food was perfect. We started with a cheese appetizer, and it was quiet a lot of cheese of the same kind, rather than s sampling. The salmon salad is very good, but although it does not say, it is cured salmon like lox, not fresh. We loved our wine choice, a white recommended by our server. The service was very good here.

My wife and two kids(13 and 7) stumbled into this restaurant on a hot July day. They have outdoor seating that looked quaint, but the inside was elegant and air conditioned. We opted to eat inside. Bottom line: the food is very good. The service is excellent. I recommend highly. 4.5 stars. The recommended wine by the glass was good(Vertijana). We had very attentive service right from the start. After ordering drinks, a tapa of Tortilla Espanola was delivered. It looked elegant and was tasty(4⁄5). We ordered: 1. Fingers de pollo: Good for the kids, but I have to say the adults liked them too. Great dipping sauce(4⁄5) 2. Ensalada de Salmon: This is a very good dish; Top notch(5⁄5) 3. Alachofas salteadas: The pan fried artichokes were good. I kid of expected fried, but it is really sauteed.(4⁄5) They ended by giving us another tapa: a little sweet cake(3⁄5). classy way for them to end the meal.

Really fantastic food. Wonderful tapas with our orders of drinks. A wonderful cod, pork and gravy on toast then we ordered our items. Fantastic. Do not pass up the Alcochofas Salteadas — pan fried artichokes. We have been here in Spain for almost a week and this has been one of our better, overall experiences. Walk past the other places nearby and grab a table. Wonderful.

Tried the salmon salad after reading the reviews and I will agree, it is delicious! For my first drink here my tapa was only crackers and cheese, which was good, but I was a little disappointed because i had reviews of much better plates. However for my second glass I had the most delicious mini burger! The staff was friendly and patient– even helped me get a taxi since I needed to rush to the train station. This is on a quiet street which is a nice break from the busy tourist places!

One of our best meals in Spain. Highly recommend the salmon salad. If you like artichokes the one with sauce was very nice. It went perfectly on the bruschetta toast provided. My husband tried the chocolate lasagne which was very unique and delicious. We might not have tried it if we knew what morilla meant. It reminded us a little like mole with a touch of cinnamon and sweetness. Not too much though. Highly recommend all. Wasn’t as fond of the local wine from Granada though. Would try a Rioja next time.

This place was actually amazing. The pork and veal fillets were both delicious. The service was impeccable. We recommend the cheesecake for dessert. Lovely atmosphere. We came around 11:40 which was close to closing time and there were very few other people. Semi-fancy establishment. Absolutely recommend to everyone.

Great food, great wine selection, great service! We stumbled upon this place because we first stopped into a wine bar that was packed. The bartender handed us the card for La Botilleria as an alternative and we are grateful! The free tapas of cod with caviar was a great pallette cleanser, not to mention the delicious free cheesecake dessert at the conclusion of the meal. The salmon salad may be the world’s greatest salad — no exaggeration. We are big salad eaters and this was one of the top ten to date. The battered artichokes were lightly breaded and fried — very good. The veal steak was juicy. Overall — a really great choice.

service is perfect, drinks are great try the super good gin tonic with extremely wide selection of gins and tonics as we’ll! Home made foil is a good choice of starter and pork knuckles are great! Veal and pork steak are just ok! Must try this small restaurant if u visit Granada, a unique experience to make u love the town more
