No volveré a ir.

Before I begin, the location of this place is wrong. The actual address is still in the Albaycin area but it’s on Calle de Panaderos. Now to the review. This place was an amazing find. We arrived at around 9pm and were greeted right away by our waiter. I was aware that they had a fish platter so that was the first thing I searched for on the menu. And there is was, «barco de mariscos» and so cheap. We were all over it! We also ordered a side of patatas bravas and an avocado salad. Everything was delicious but the fried seafood platter was amazing. There was a mixture a calamari rings, squid, what looked sardines and some other whole fried fish. The portion was huge and very well cooked. Lightly coated and fried but not greasy. Eaten with lots of lemon juice and beer, is there anything better? I don’t think so! If ever in Granada, find this place and enjoy!

Located in the Albaicin neighborhood, this is a pretty decent place to have seafood. Great value for everything you get. At 10 € per person, each person gets a glass of wine, complimentary tapas, a huge platter of mixed seafood to share, and finishing off with a cortado. The wine selection was okay and could be a little better. The bartender was very gracious in letting us taste their selection of red wines to choose from. The seafood platter was delicious and huge — worth sharing with two or three people. The mix we had contained an assortment of fried octopus, calamari, sardines, fish, and shrimp. The ambience was intimate and quiet as we started a little early(7:30 pm). The hospitality was great. I would definitely recommend it if you like seafood and don’t want spend too much.

Solid seafood fare with plenty of outdoor seating in a nice square in the albaycin. The fried little anchovies and fried medium sized sole were great, flavorful, fresh, affordable, and all in all, great. The pork with grapes in a bitter sauce was great – though it’s more full raisins, not grapes. I enjoyed the restaurant though living at the bottom of the hill made for a slightly harrowing walk back through the dimly lit and empty rocky lanes.

Would need to try it a few more times for a potential upgrade to 5 stars. For now, let me say that I loved their menu del dia with pescado frito and berenjenas fritas con miel. The fried fish was delicious. A wild symphony of various sea creatures. Way better than the half boring jalea de mariscos I had recently at a Peruvian restaurant in SF. The berenjenas fritas con miel(fried eggplant with a drizzling of honey, or liquid brown sugar more likely) were amazing. Reminded me of the deep fried parsley I had in Mexico once. A healthy vegetable made delicious by frying it and adding a little extra, unique flavor.
