The worst hotel ever. From the moment we arrived, just getting in the front door was near impossible. There’s a basic set of two doors — regular size doors. And you have to hold open each door, one at a time. When you’re wheeling luggage this task is nearly impossible. Then you get to the desk and the very unpleasant young lady behind the desk tells you that your room with two beds was given away to someone else. You’ll have to cuddle up to your buddy all night. Gracias! Then you get to the room and it’s the first hotel in history without windows. Awesome. I’m sorry, let me clarify. There’s a window but it resides about 7 feet up the wall and is about 1′ x 3′, and you certainly can’t see out of it. None of the guests can figure out how to use the room key to open the front door at night because it’s a bad system. I would go on but I’m tired. Avoid this hotel if you have any choice. It’s a dump with rude staff, bad amenities, bad technology, etc, etc. I can’t even believe Unilocal is making me give them 1 star.

What a great find! We snagged a sweet rate online and couldn’t be happier with the chic, art-filled spaces, clean-lined, roomy(by European standards, anyway) accommodations, and fantastic location(a 15 minute or less walk to all of the major museums and sights). Oh, did I mention the shower? It was heavenly. My husband is ready to renovate our master bathroom to try to recreate a bit of its magic. One caution: the bathroom is separated from the room by a frosted glass door that leaves little to the imagination. Fine if you’re staying solo or as part of a couple, but a little much if you’re doing a girls’ weekend or trip with your parents.
