VAYA VAYA ! ! ! Que bueno que los restaurantes super económicos que mantienen un menú de CALIDAD y sabroso, además mantengan una estética vanguardista, limpia y acogedora.
El lugar es super céntrico, grande, buen servicio y rápido. Real y gratamente sorprendido ! ! !
VOLVERÉ, pero eso si, lo haré a primera hora porque si no has de hacer cola ! ! !
Si, si si claro que voy a hacer la «puntillita» aunque no es fácil jeje
Muy señores míos del Rte. La Gloria de Montera, me alegro por su exito, no obstante si no corrigen en medidas de lo posible el asunto del espacio entre mesas, terminará pareciendo una sucursal de Ryanair. Resulta incómodo pasar o que te pasen el trasero por el plato los que van a tomar asiento junto a tu mesa.

I don’t understand why this restaurant has such high reviews. I agree with Humza A, why the great reviews? Unilocalers, you let me down!
After arriving on a late flight from Bordeaux we were very hungry. It was Sunday evening around 11:30 and not a lot was open so we were thrilled to find this place on Unilocal. On the positive side, our food came out quickly. Then I realized it was because our food was not freshly cooked. Some of our dishes, like my meatballs, tasted like they came out of a can! The sauce on my husbands fish was a strange gelatinous brown sauce that was a terrible accompaniment. The waiter was efficient and professional, getting it done, without much fuss. However, at the end we put down a large bill for the tip and before we could ask for change he snatched it up in record time and disappeared ! That was the icing on one bad cake. I wish it had been a better experience … because the restaurant is in a nice environment, but the food did not match up.

First time Unilocal let me down. Granted service was fast and prices were cheap but the quality of food is poor. Had quite a few staters, salmon, risotto, crab, and egg all were tough to eat (and I kept wondering how other Unilocalers were ok with this place). Hamburger steak for dinner and I ALWAYS finish my food. I couldn’t eat half of it. Meat tasted old. My friend had the bass. I tried this, it was ok. They don’t have a kids menu or even high chairs.

The service here is very efficient. Food and drinks come out less than 10 minutes of ordering. And the waiters are patient if you have trouble speaking Spanish.
I had the mojito and bacalao which were pretty satisfying. It seems like every dish here comes with potatoes, not that there’s anything wrong with that.
For dessert, note that there are two types of flan. One that is cheese based «flan de queso» and one that is egg based «flan de huevo». I personally enjoyed the flan de queso more. There’s a huge list of desserts to choose from so feel free to be adventurous.
A couple reviews complain about the waiters unwilling to have a conversation and not smiling. Take a look around the restaurant, THEY’RE BUSY and have other guests to attend to. The fact that they can keep quality and efficient at high standard is pretty darn awesome already.
On a final note, ambiance is on point. Kudos

Really enjoyed this place. Great selection of dishes, not specifically Spanish but more pan-​European.
The pasta, duck confit, and lamb shank were all great. Wine was cheap, and the service was excellent. Would definitely return.

I chose La Gloria de Montera for lunch one day mostly for convenience but am so glad that it wound up being a great restaurant as well (this place is very convenient to access by metro for most, and for any tourists in the Puerto del Sol area is within close walking distance).
My friend and I wanted to have our first menu del dia experience, and La Gloria de Montera was a perfect choice! The interior is modern, clean, and classy. When I walked in around 2 PM, the inside was bustling with well-​dressed locals and clientele who looked like they had just gotten off of work.
We were seated immediately, and a server came by promptly to take our orders. The menu del dia (less than 11 euros) comes with the choice of appetizer, main course, dessert, and wine or water. Still nursing a headache from some sangria I’d had the night before, I chose the water, so I can’t speak for the wine. For the appetizer, I had some sort of egg mixed with salmon and greens (fried), and my friend had something that reminded us of pizza on a bed of greens. Both were good but very heavy, and we were already quite full off the appetizer. For the entrée, I ordered cazon with risotto. While I was not too excited that the fish was fried, it was still really tasty, and I really loved the risotto! My friend had the beef with fries, which she enjoyed but also couldn’t finish. Finally, for dessert, we split a spiced pear dessert drizzled in orange sauce and flan. I thought the pear dessert was tasty and unique, but the flan was just so delicious! If you like flan, don’t miss it! We returned a couple days later, and the menu was slightly different but generally had the same types of offerings.
Overall, definitely recommend – especially for tourists. We began by speaking in Spanish, but our server knew quite a bit of English as well, so that was very helpful in interpreting the menu.

La primera vez que pasé por delante pensé que no era un sitio para mí. Aparentemente el típico restaurante prohibitivo.
Cual fue mi sorpresa al ver que la carta distaba totalmente: platos típicos (ensaladas, carnes, pescados, pasta…) a 8 euros de promedio. Entendí entonces por qué está siempre lleno: a todos nos gusta aparentar… y más a precio de restaurante chino.
¿El secreto? Los platos no se preparan al momento, sino que están envasados al vacío, listos para calentar. Por eso tardan tan poco en llegar a la mesa. Poco importa, pues están sorprendentemente ricos. Probad el entrecot con salsa a la pimienta, la ternera con foie o el crujiente al oporto…
No admite reservas y es imposible cenar de viernes a domingo si no acudes pronto. Me han llegado a pedir hasta hora y media de espera un sábado a las 21.00.

Es uno de los restaurantes incluidos dentro de una cadena en la que todos mantienen el mismo estilo. Es el típico restaurante para degustar comida «moderna» a un precio asequible. Por unos 20 euros puedes comer algo para picar, un buen segundo plato y un postre.
Se ha ido haciendo más famoso con el tiempo y, para poder ir a cenar un viernes o sábado, tendrás que hacer cola o llegar a cenar a las 8 de la tarde, cosa que nuestro carácter mediterráneo nos impide por ley. Han visto que el restaurante se llenaba siempre a tope y han conseguido más unión entre todos los comensales, las mesas están más juntas de lo debido.
El plato estrella es el «Milhojas de solomillo con foie». Si te das una vuelta por las mesas, seguro que ves unos cuantos. Intenta, si te das vueltas por las mesas que sea cuando ya te vayas o cuando llegues, si no, te van a mirar un poco raro, aunque bueno, gente loca hay en todos lados.
Yo siempre que voy, me vuelvo loco con el postre, no me puedo ir de ahí sin probar las «Torrijas de Concha con helado de vainilla», un postre que sólo puedo comer cuando vengo a Madrid o en Semana Santa… con lo que a mi me gusta… tengo que hacerlas más a menudo.

Every time that we go to Madrid we do a stop at this amazing restaurant.
This place is well known for his gourmet plates and attractive prices. My husband and I went in our last trip to Madrid and as always it was not a disappointment. Wine & cocktails are more than affordable and the quality is good. However, this time I don’t give 5 starts for the following reasons:
SERVICE:
At our first visit, we went pretty late around 4pm and a waiter was very rude telling us the kitchen was closed. Practically he kick out us with that totally inappropriate tone. We’ve got the situation, of course, but honestly we didn’t had a good feeling so we thought twice to return to this place. Fortunately, this feeling disappeared at the night when we return for dinner. We had a really nice waiter and the experience was good.
FOOD:
We ordered Mojitos to start and some tapas. Salmorejo was incredibly delicious. Croquetas caseras are my favorite. Carpaccio was good too according to my husband and the last one Parrillada de Verduras was tasty and fresh. We ordered the mythic Patatas Bravas but they were a totally letdown and didn’t reach my expectations. BE CAREFUL if you have fish allergies or something similar, they fry everything in the same oil that the fish, we found our potatoes with fish taste and a fish piece inside. Very very disgusting.
Rest of the experience was good. Leaving the last two incidents, I recommend this place.

I love table serving on white table cloth for under € 10! Nice food, nice decoration, no complaints from us :)
Ps. Starter, main and dessert for € 10, actually the best deal I have seen in Madrid so far!

Local amplio en el centro de Madrid. La gracia de este sitio es que supuestamente puedes comer platos buenos en un ambiente ‘cool’ por un precio aceptable. Vamos a analizar todo esto. Los platos no están tan buenos, de 4 personas que fuimos probé todos y solo uno me gustó ligeramente, la fideua que nos pusieron haría llorar a un levantino. El ambiente no está mal, una decoración hecha con gusto, lástima que no admitan reservas. Y en los precios desde luego no te puedes quejar, están ajustados al máximo (pudiendo ver precios rarísimos en la carta, como 6,38 €) y supongo que ahí es donde gana clientela.
En resumen, comida bastante regular, local bueno y precios muy asequibles, no me planteo volver a corto plazo porque lo que más me importa es la comida.

Das Essen ist sehr lecker und für den Preis gibt es eine angemessen große Portion. Die Bedienungen sind allerdings unfreundlich und wirken nicht wirklich motiviert, mit dem Handy chatten ist wichtiger als bedienen. Ein Alster gibt es nicht dafür wurde mir angeboten ein Bier und eine Sprite zu bestellen…

Our group of 8 really enjoyed this restaurant. It was gourmet food at reasonable prices. It also offered a twist on the traditional Spanish food which is refreshing after several days in Spain.

Este restaurante de Madrid pertenece a una cadena que tiene varios por la ciudad, de los cuales he probado dos. Aunque parece pijo y caro, nada más lejos de la realidad: se puede comer bien por unos 10 – 15 €. Es por eso que suele estar a tope, por lo que es recomendable ir temprano (no aceptan reservas, y cuando está lleno van apuntando a la gente en una lista de espera para ocupar las mesas).
El servicio es bastante rápido y la comida está buena. Es cierto que quizá comparado con otros sitios no está TAN buena, pero la relación calidad/​precio está bien, y tiene algunos platos que a mí me encantan (el milhojas de solomillo y foie, por ejemplo). Además, la carta es bastante variada y hay mucho donde elegir.

No sé cuántas veces he podido ir… En familia, con amigos, con mi pareja…
Me parece un buen sitio para tomar platos diferentes (algunos mejores y otros peores, pero eso depende del gusto).
La decoración del lugar hace creer que te va a salir por un ojo de la cara, pero lo que es cierto es que tiene un precio muy razonable.
Recomiendo para los días: Sábados, domingos y festivos, acercarse a una hora prudente y ver cuanta gente tienes delante (siempre va a estar lleno y eso que el local tiene bastantes mesas) e irte a tomar un aperitivo por la zona. Lo bueno que tienen es que no tienes que esperar allí mismo, dejas tu teléfono y te llaman cuando tu mesa esté lista.

Oh fellow Unilocalers – how could you have steered us so wrong?
None of our dishes was good, and only one was passable. The vino tinto was acceptable – I wouldn’t expect anything spectacular from a house wine, and the price point was appropriate.
For starters I ordered the fried calamari and my husband ordered a salad with crab and avocado. The calamari must have been fried at much too low of a temperature because the coating was completely soggy and flavorless. The calamari itself was tender, so I ended up taking the breading off of the squid rings and sprinkling them with salt and lemon.
The salad turned out to be a mousse of crab and avocado which was oddly sweet but had very little crab or avocado flavor, served with some greens and small toasts. We were expecting something more like a salad with a variety of vegetables with chunks of crabs and avocado slices. We may have just misunderstood the menu on this one, but regardless, this was not an enjoyable dish.
My husband ordered paella as his main dish, and this was the definite low point of the meal. The rice tasted like rice-​a-​roni and was soggy. There were 3 shrimp (very small with little meat, and one was so undercooked that it was still translucent and squirted liquid when he pressed it with his fork) and 3 shellfish (unidentifiable and dried out). We did find pieces of real pork, but the sausage that was used was spongy, looked like tofu and tasted like vienna sausages from a can. He ended up leaving more than half of the serving in the pan.
I ordered gazpacho as my main dish, which was the most acceptable part of the meal. The soup was fresh and had good flavors of tomato, cucumber and pepper, although the green and red peppers used as garnish were not sliced fully through.
We had to flag our waiter to get our check, but that seemed to be the norm during our travels. However, most of the wait staff we talked to previously had asked how our meal was – but not this waiter. He just said, «Are you finished?» and then went to get the check.
I don’t often travel internationally so don’t know the general practice in Spain, but I normally would have returned food prepared this poorly to the kitchen. My husband insists I give this less than one star, but I’m not sure how.

Visited based on Unilocal reviews on a recent business trip to Madrid. Serving sizes are on the upper side for Spain and cost is reasonable. A fairly typical range of Spanish dishes. I found it overall average though in terms of food quality. Croquettes were served with small pieces of toast with a red sauce which I think was meant to be a sort of bruschetta, but it was not that tasty. A crêpe of fish was ok but really drowned in a very rich cheesy sauce that pretty much hid the flavor of the fish. Then a pork loin wrapped in a pastry. Meat was tasty but tough. A half bottle of wine. Total around 30 Euros. So good value but not a place I would recommend for a special meal. There are so many better places in Madrid including in this immediate area.

Gloria de Montera gehört zu einer Kette, die ihren Ursprung in Barcelona hat. In BCN gibt es davon unzählige Restaurants, in Madrid gibt es davon fünf, das Gloria de Montera, das Public, das Ginger, das Bazzar und die Finca de Suzana.
Das Essen ist gut und günstig, es gibt eine große Karte mit Fisch, Fleisch und vegetarischen Gerichten. Die Qualität ist für die Preise auf jeden Fall völlig ok, die Zutaten sind allerdings sicherlich nicht beste Qualität.
In den Restaurants arbeiten vornehmlich Asiaten, wahrscheinlich weil es sehr günstige Arbeitskräfte sind in Spanien.
Die Restaurants sind alle unterschiedlich aufgebaut und haben verschiedene Looks, trotzdem merkt man dass sie zusammen hängen. Die Karten sind sehr ähnlich. Das Publikum ist sehr jung und hip. mittags kommen aber auch viele Geschäftsleute.
Im Gloria de Montera ist vor allem das Dessert Chocolatissimo zu empfehlen. Ein leckeres Schokosoufflé mit heißem Kern, dazu Schokosauce in dunkel und hell die absolute Kalorienbombe, aber sooo lecker.
Die Salate sind simpel aber gut, Dressing gibt es wie so oft in Spanien nicht, dafür wird Öl und Essig dazu gereicht. Schmackhaft ist das Gemüse in Tempura mit Sojasauce.
Zu Beginn bringen die Kellner Brot, dieses muss man jedoch extra (1 Euro pro Brot) zahlen. Sehr zu empfehlen sind die Mittagsmenüs. Für elf Euro bekommt man eine Vor-​, Haupt– und Nachspeise, Brot und einen viertel Liter Weiß– oder Rotwein. Dazu kann man wie in den meisten spanischen Restaurants eine kostenlose Jarra de Agua bestellen.

He ido infinidad de veces a este restaurante porque unos compañeros de trabajo se quedan en un hotel muy cercano y la verdad es que necesitamos un restaurante agradable, no demasiado caro y con comida mediterránea así que esta es la mejor opción de la zona. Si bien su cocina no me encanta, por la relación calidad-​precio no está nada mal.
Es el típico restaurante modernillo, con nivel culinario muy aceptable en el que no te sacan un ojo (es bastante barato). Como punto negativo diré que no ponen cañas ya que solo tienen cerveza en botellín.
Eso sí, a mis compañeros (todos ellos americanos) les apasiona este sitio al que llaman: «our favorite restaurant» así que sobran las palabras.

Every time my family and I visit Madrid, we come here, because the food is amazing and it’s pretty cheap.
It is never empty, the décor is minimalist, and although service is prompt, don’t expect smiles or conversation from the staff… which is just as fine with me, so long as service doesn’t suck.
There is the regular menu, and the menu del dia for 10 euros (during the day). I have had both, and I can honestly say, everything so far has been excellent. Good portions and good taste. I’ve had their salads, their meatballs and potatoes, their macaroni, their meat and potatoes… I’ve sampled the salmorejo, and the pasta is good as well. If it is available, get the chocolate ice cream with turron… omg.
The only con is that a small bread is 1 euro. The water bottles are bigger than in other restaurants but to me, they’re still too small. Regardless, I love this place… If you’re too scandalized by prostitutes, I don’t suggest you come here, as they are all over this particular neighborhood… If you’re normal, then I definitely recommend this restaurant!

Trabajo en un hotel al lado y siempre lo recomendaba porque los compañeros lo hacían y los clientes siempre quedaban contentos asíque cuando tuve que invitar a mis padres lo tuve claro, vamos a probarlo.
De primeras, pensé que iba a ser caro pero para nada el plato más caro 12 €, el servicio no fue lo que más me gusto puesto que preguntamos algo varias veces y no nos entendían (eran extranjeros) e intentaron retirar un plato 3 veces cuando el comensal no había terminado.
ERROR: postre torrijas NO, friiiiiiiias, no hay peor que recién sacadas del frigo y encima con helado, una pena.
La comida en general buena, no excelente pero buena.
Creo que se puede mejorar pero aún así para estar en el centro está bien.

Comida económica y resultona, apariencia de cool, pero un servicio deficiente. No aceptan reservas.

Si quieres impresionar, para comer en un sitio en que parezca que te estas sobrando con el dinero, este es tu sitio. No reservan y entiendo porqué, estaría todo reservado hasta dentro de años. Buena comida, muy bien presentada, y una relacion calidad-​precio genial. Mas que recomendable. Eso si, ve pronto.

…la gloria de montera, la finca de susana, el bazaar… son todos del mismo palo… platos muy elaborados, que no estan mal, servido por orientales y de multiples mesas en comedores bastantes extensos, al igual que su carta.
Tipico/​os para cenar o comer que nunca falla.

Cuidado al acercarte por aquí, porque suele haber cola a la hora de comer. Todavía recuerdo cuando descubrí este sitio: era un jovenzuelo cualquiera que acababa de salir de la Universidad, y me parecía lo más: comer por cuatro duros, en pleno centro de Madrid y con una comida que está medianamente rica.
Luego fui dándome cuenta de que tampoco era para tanto, pero mentiría si dijera que no me parece todo un descubrimiento seguir comiendo en el centro de Madrid por platos que no alcanzan ni los diez euros.
Vale que la comida no es nada del otro mundo, y que en realidad todo es fruto de una pequeña cadena con aspecto de restaurante de diseño que tiene varios restaurantes en todo Madrid (Public, La Finca de Susana, Bazaar…) pero he de reconocer que este es el primero que conocí y que, quizá por eso, le guardo un cariño especial.

Wenn man davon absieht, dass das Restaurant sich an der Periferie des örtlichen Strassenstrichs befindet, findet man eine grosse Vielfalt von Fleisch, Fisch und Gemüsegerichten auf der Karte, die ansprechend gestaltet ist. Das Personal ist freundlich und auch beherzt. Ein Pöbler, der einen der Kellner auf Grund seiner Hautfarbe blöd angemacht hatte, wurde von dessen Kollegen dezent aber bestimmt weggewiesen.
Das Essen ist gut, nicht obere Spitzenklasse, aber auch kein Touristenfutter mit anschliessender Abzocke.
Wir sassen draussen vor dem Restaurant und liessen uns die spanische Sonne auf den Pelz scheinen. Wir fühlten uns insgesamt pudelwohl. Das Restaurant ist gut gelegen und man erreicht zu Fuss die Ecken der Innenstadt recht gut.

Fantastic and reasonable prices! The salad with goat cheese, pine nuts and honey vinaigrette was amazing. I also had salmon cooked on plank with asparagus. Also very good. This restaurant fills up within an hour of opening, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they up their prices soon.

About a 2 minute walk from our Gran Via hotel, I loved this restaurant. For the décor and ambiance, I thought the prices were cheap! The food was solid and quite tasty, albeit a tad on the salty side, but the absolute winner here was the flan de queso. It’s almost like a cheesecake, but less sweet. Paired with a berry reduction, it was absolutely divine. My absolute favorite dessert of my 10 day trip. I tired to find flan de queso again at other places, but was never able to re-​create that magical dessert.
Aside: I love how inexpensive getting a bottle of wine is in Spain compared to the States.

Es un restaurante bonito y bien de precio. Solo he ido un par de veces, pero salí encantada. El servicio era muy eficaz, y el menú bastante variado (todo muy rico!)

The food creations here are far more imaginative than the typical Spanish restaurant in this price range. I have always dropped in for lunch and had one of the ~3 menu (3 course lunch special with starter, main dish, dessert and wine/​water) offerings. These offer a good variety, are always well prepared, and a good value.
The place is almost always crowded and it is clear that many locals like the place. The décor is a bit stark for me, but it is clean and sophisticated.

Muy buena calidad precio. Está muy bien cuando quieres invitar a alguien y quedar muy bien.

I was on holiday in Madrid with my family and we decided to come here for lunch. It was a short walk from our hotel (though, to be frank, Madrid is a relatively small city so everything is within walking distance). There was a 3-​course lunch special with 3 different starters, 3 different main courses, and 2 different dessert choices. Since there were three of us, we decided to get one of each of the first two courses and both desserts.
Here’s what we ate:
calamares rebozados con ensalada (calamari) — so tender, crisp breading, not greasy at all
ensalada de tomate y queso (salad with tomato and cheese) — fresh salad, the tomatoes were ripe and flavorful, the cheese was soft and delicious
carrillada de cerdo en su jugo (pork cheeks) — the meat was succulent and a bit oily but in a good way
pasta con espinacas y salmón (pasta with spinach and salmon) — the sauce was sort of heavy, but full of flavor and the pasta was cooked well
pollo asado (roast chicken) — simple dish but v. yummy
paella mixta — I love paella but I wished this came in the traditional pan so I could get the crusty rice at the bottom, nonetheless it was still good
bizcocho de chocolate y helado (chocolate cake with ice cream) — rich and awesome
fruta (fruit — they gave us 2 oranges) — these were the best oranges ever — so juicy and delicious
Everything was so delicious and the lunch special prices were awesome. They also put a few pieces of bread on the table for us to eat (which was complimentary — be wary that some places charge you for bread).

Restaurante que me ha sorprendido gratamente. Una carta exquisita. Trato cordial.
Muy recomendable.

Situado muy cerca de la estación de Metro de Gran Vía, en la calle Caballero de Gracia no exactamente en Montera (calle conocida porque está muy frecuentada por prostitutas), es uno de los restaurantes más solicitados en la hora de comida en el centro debido a su interesante menú compuesto de muchos de los platos de la carta. Cuidado y sencillo en lo estético a veces se hace un poco incómodo porque no hay demasiado espacio entre mesas y si hay mucha gente parece que estás compartiendo mesa con otros. Aún así los precios (unos 8 – 9 euros de media por cada plato) y la variedad y calidad compensa. Una de sus características es que no admiten reservas con lo que te pueden decir que regreses al cabo de media hora o el tiempo que estimen oportuno. Hay una oferta menor de platos que no lleven carne frente a estos pero aún así algunos muy sabrosos como El Gallo a las Almendras. Los postres son muy ricos y a muy buen precio como ese delirio que es Locura de Caoba y Marfil, buenísimo para terminar la comida. Cobran un euro por el pan.

Excelente comida, no sólo por su relación calidad — precio, sino por que de verdad es cocina buena y de calidad. Está muy rico, está tan bien cocinado que te quedas con ganas de comerte otro plato. Desde luego, no te sirven mucha cantidad, pero con unos entrantes, plato y postre te quedas bien. Es algo raro, parece bastante elegante, aunque en seguida ves que el servicio es rollo fast — food, por eso es tan barato supongo.
Quiere imitar la cocina de diseño y lo hacen bien, es de los restaurantes que más me han gustado hasta ahora en Madrid.
La ubicación es genial y después de comer le puedes hacer una visitilla al Oratorio del Caballero de Gracia, atravesarlo y salir por Gran Vía :)

¿Un sitio que está siempre lleno y no reserva? ¿Cómo puede estar lleno si está en una calle secundaria al lado de Montera? ¿Será porque, hace 100 años, antes de construirse la Gran Vía, Caballero de Gracia era una calle principal?
En fin, el caso es que su buen precio ayuda, supongo. Siento decir que, claro, el éxito hace que la calidad haya ido a menos, como siempre pasa. Las raciones empiezan a ser demasiado pequeñas, te cobran por todo como si fuese un lujo y además casi acabas intimando con el de al lado de lo pegadísimas que están las mesas.
Sin embargo, su cocina es moderna y ago más barata que en los sitios que van de modernos de verdad. No es demasiado, pero vale.

Situada en pleno centro, la Gloria sorprende por su relación calidad-​precio, en un ambiente selecto y una cocina por la que en la zona se pagan auténticas barbaridades. Por ello no es de extrañar verlo siempre de bote en bote y que no acepten reservas. menú del día a 11 euros da en los morros a la mayoría de locales de la zona, definitivamente no puedes irte sin probar sus milhojas y sobre todo esa burla a toda persona a dieta llamada Chocolatísimo…imprescindible

Perteneciente a los mismo dueños de Bazaar y La Finca de Susana, en la Gloria de Montera también podemos degustar unos platos originales, ricos, en un espacio con clase y por muy poco dinero. Este restaurante está siempre tan lleno, como todos los demás, que han decidido poner las mesas muy juntas para que quepa más gente y en mi opinión es un error, porque a veces llega a ser un poco agobiante dependiendo de dónde te sienten. Pero en realidad es el único inconveniente que le encuentro. También tienen menú de mediodía, recomendabilísimo. Las lágrimas de chocolate sobre crema inglesa son el postre obligado para los golosos junto con la tarta de Chocolatísimo…mmmmm

Wir sind durch Zufall an diesem Lokal vorbeigekommen und haben spontan beschlossen dort zu essen, nachdem uns das Ambiente und die Speisekarte angesprochen hat. Später haben wir dann gesehen, dass dieses Lokal zur Finca de Susana gehört, in der wir am Abend zuvor essen waren g.
Auch hier war schon 20 min. vor Öffnung eine lange Schlange (vorwiegend Einheimische), aber wir bekamen trotzdem noch einen Tisch. Das Ambiente des Lokals war wirklich schön und elegant, deswegen haben uns auch die niedrigen Preise überrascht.
Die Karte ist übersichtlich und es ist für jeden was dabei, eine gute Mischung aus Fisch– und Fleischgerichten und auch für Vegetarier gibt es eine Auswahl. Die Speisen sind vom Stil und der Zusammenstellung her ähnlich wie in der Finca de Susana, aber es hat sich keine Speise 1:1 wiederholt. Es war alles superlecker, frische Zutaten und die Dessertkarte war ein Gedicht. Preislich haben wir uns p.P. mit 2 Gängen, Wein und Wasser bei ca. 20EUR bewegt.
Auf jeden Fall gibt es hier von mir volle 5 Sterne, weil ich mit allem mehr als zufrieden war und das PReis-​Leistungs-​Verhältnis wirklich ausgezeichnet ist.

Ein echter Geheimtipp, denn wo sonst kann man in Madrid soo gut und sooo günstig essen?!
Das wissen aber auch die Madrilenen und so gilt es, sich rechtzeitig vor Öffnung anzustellen und darauf zu hoffen, dass man noch einen Platz ergattertReservierungen werden hier nicht angenommen (warum auch?).
Das Essen ist lecker und abwechslungsreich, Fischgerichte stehen hier hauptsächlich auf der Karte, aber auch Fleisch, dazu leckere Vorspeisen, Gemüsegerichte und tolle Desserts, die dazu verleiten, sich doch noch wenigstens eines zu teilen. Mit Wein kann man es hier schaffen, für unter 15EUR p.P. zu dinieren. Dazu eine sehr schöné Inneneinrichtung — das Richtige für einen optimalen Auftakt für eine Nacht in Madrid!!!
