Panisimo

Am ersten Aufenthaltstag durch Zufall entdeckt und weil mir der Laden sympathisch war, auch gleich ein Baguette gekauft. Das Brot war sehr frisch und schmeckte auch gut, für 1,20 € sollte man nicht meckern :)

Esto es una cosa muy rara: es una cafetería nueva, pero no intenta competir con nadie en ser la más moderna o molona, sino que se limitan a tener precios bajos para los tiempos que corren (café a 1,20 €) y a tener un establecimiento de aspecto minimalista y limpio. ¡Inaudito!
El café estaba bastante bueno, sorprendentemente, y el sitio es bastante cómodo y luminoso, con unos ventanales bastante amplios que dan a la estatua de los Abogados de Atocha. Tienen bastantes mesas y sillas, así como una amplia selección de bollería, aunque me da que es bastante industrial porque no parecen tener horno propio. De lo que sí carecen es de decoración, esas paredes tan blancas parecen de una nave espacial del cine de los años 70.
Lo que no terminó de gustarme es que no atienden a las mesas, sino que pides en la barra y te lo llevas a tu sitio (modelo de bajo coste), ¡pero no te avisan aunque te vean en una mesa vacía y cruces miradas! Confieso que esta pasividad me molestó un poco, pero poder tomar un café a precio normal en un ambiente tan agradable me calmó.

A wonderful option for delicious breakfast pastries and great coffee. The service is super friendly, and the prices are very low!
The jamon Iberico flautin at 2.50 is a great deal. Simple with a little bit of oil spread on a mini whole wheat baguette. Yum.

Después de ir varias veces a desayunar, tengo que dejar una reseña porque el lugar se lo merece totalmente! lugar perfecto para desayunar o merendar, preferentemente en verano para disfrutar de sus frescos smoothies, es super barato y el ambiente es tranquilo pero como cualquier cafetería con su música de fondo. ., colorido y muy luminoso, el servicio perfecto, chicas rápidas y activas. Recomendable.

I’ve lost count of the number of times I went here during my 10-​day stay in Madrid. Simply a great café with even better staff. The women who work here are so friendly and provide excellent service. The prices are so low, yet the food is absolutely delicious and of great quality. I’d recommend this place to everyone.

New shop. The barrista told me it’s two months old. It’s smart-​looking and sleek. Minimalist décor. I saw a picture on the wall of a coffee drink served in a parfait glass, and like a parfait (except liquid), the drink was layered. It had bands of several different shades of brown. You could actually taste each different layer. I think it was a café latte with mocha. It was heavenly! I also had a pastry called a snacken with it. Fresh and delicious even though it was midday. I’m craving this treat again, especially the coffee drink. I suspect it can’t be a regular thing for me. It’s extremely rich!
