Compared to everything else you can have in Madrid, I believe 3 stars is fair. One thing, I have to give them props for the variety. The menu has sandwiches with the classic jamon serrano but also a full english breakfast with sausages and eggs. Their orange juice is outstanding. Freshly squeezed and they serve it straight up lets say, no ice. no need for ice either. They have coffee, café con leche, chocolate milk, juices and even shakes. I tried the white chocolate shake and personally, nothing to remember. It is a good place to grab breakfast if you woke up too late to go to another smaller, not-a-chain restaurant. Oh, attentive service.

This was my first time in Madrid, and next to the Holiday Inn there is this brand new restaurant that I now see is part of a chain. The front of the restaurant is a great little all-purpose type of shop with knick knacks, toys and food items. The restaurant at the back is a bit like an America diner in style, but with a more sophisticated, European/Spanish flair. English menus are available upon request. The food was a mixture of American and continental, reasonably priced, and nicely presented. I had a nice dinner here and would recommend it for a casual dining experience.
