also, even if it tasted like a donkey’s furry ass crack, fucking enjoy it because it’s fucking boba in spain, alright? if beggars could be choosers, we’d all be eating steak.*

Good boba milk tea at an unexpected place. Almost missed this place, because its on Calle de Méndez Álvar, on the side of the street that gets lost amongst the pedestrian traffic and outdoor seating of the adjacent restaurants.

Can’t believe I found tapioca bubble tea in the middle of tourist district Madrid. It is certainly up-​to-​par with any good tapioca place. I had the taro milk tea with mango and lichi bubbles with mixed tropical jelly and it tasted great.

Wow! A decent boba place in Madrid!

I would recommend one of their «creations» I’ve tried a few and they were all really good.
The problem is their basic milk teas. Definitely don’t taste like any of the milk teas I’ve tried in the states. I ordered the basic black milk tea «cold», but it wasn’t served with ice! It was like room temperature, then the tea itself was really bitter, unsweetened and watery. Maybe you can order it sweetened? I’m not really sure but it was not like anything I’ve tried (and not in a good way).

⁵⁄₅ because did not expect to have boba in Madrid, Spain. But actually didn’t get boba because we ordered the wrong drink. Saw Asians here drinking boba. I’m Asian so I know what Asians look like. Saw many of them because they’re my family. Almost mistaken the Asians for my relatives. ⁵⁄₅ for authenticity!
However, based on my one experience here I can confidently say that every single time you come here they will mess up your order because mine was wrong. I wanted boba but I didn’t get it because I ordered another drink.

And for my 500^th Unilocal review, I choose a Bubble Tea place, one of my favorite treats in life!
I don’t remember bubble tea places popping up in Madrid so I was excited to find this place. If you’ve never had bubble tea before, what are you waiting for? At Wowble, you choose your base, flavor, and add toppings! I went for a Hot Taro with tapioca. I paid under 4 Euro… not too bad. It wasn’t too sweet or watery, just great!
Good service, easy to pick and choose what you want. Go for the bubbles! (It still doesn’t beat bubble tea back home though.)

Andando por Arenal casi llegando a Sol me tope con éste local de Bubble Teas, y nada mejor para refrescar un poco del agobiante calor de Madrid que un Te frío con perlas de frutas (los sabores hay variedad) te lo puedes preparar a tu gusto mezclando los diferentes bases que hay, ya sea de Tés fríos, granizados o batidos y combinarlos con el sabor de las perlas. El servicio algo lento, aunque amable, seguramente porque el chico le daba la explicación a cada cliente de como iba el tema. Algo negativo, es solo para llevar, no hay mesas. Los precios varían según la bebida, pero nada excesivamente caro.

I loved this stuff. I had about 3 different flavor. not in one day. And all of them where so tasty. my favorite was cold milk so nice. Plus the cup are super fun. Get one because they are great.

Interesting variety of bubble teas being served here. The «wobbler» machine is not a method of making bubble tea that I have ever seen before and it was pretty time consuming. I would have liked to have tried the milk tea from here, as the fruit flavored bubble tea was far too watery for my own liking. The bubba was much different from what I am used to having in my drinks. It was not a tapioca based buba that one finds at most bubble tea restaurants.

Que buena idea la de servir té con zumos de frutas y perlas rellenas de zumo que estallan en la boca. A ver, el concepto es un poco complicado pero luego de que te lo explican bien ya lo puedes ir asimilando. Así me pasó en este pequeño local o más bien, barra de zumos, en plena calle Arenal. El sabor de las bebidas está muy bien, no muy azucarado. Lo mejor es que te las sirven selladas y con una pajita, con lo que se evita que se derrame el líquido. Lo malo es que están tan buenas que ya quiero ir de nuevo a por otra.

¡Menuda sorpresa encontrarme un local de Bubble Tea en casi plena puerta del sol! ¡Y encima hablan en mi idioma! Por fin he podido pedir esta rica bebida sin estar nervioso por llevarme la sorpresa de haber pedido lo que no quería, lo cual se agradece.
El local es básicamente un mostrador para pedir y llevártelo para tomarlo en la calle. Me dio la impresión que iban bastante lentos, aunque imagino que es porque acaban de abrir, y además tienen que explicar de qué va la cosa a cada cliente, porque casi nadie conoce el concepto.
En cuanto a variedades, tienen los típicos Bubble Teas que puedes pedir en otros locales con té afrutado, leche con té (frío, caliente o granizado), y hasta batido, escogiendo tú los sabores y las perlitas, tanto rellenas de zumo como las normales de tapioca, que por cierto, son las más ricas que he probado hasta el momento. Aparte, como novedad tienen algunas mezclas ya predefinidas que tienen buena pinta, como por ejemplo sandía, chocolate, o incluso café (lo que me hace preguntarme qué pensarán los inventores Taiwaneses de la bebida al verla «mancillada» de esta manera).
Decir que en esta ocasión probé el milktea de taro con perlas de tapioca y está delicioso, un gran acierto. ¡Sin duda volveré para probar más combinaciones!

Nuevo nuevísimo! (Tanto que una vez intenté entrar y aun lo estaban construyendo, y al día siguiente ya estaba abierto!)
Es un sitio nuevo como de batidos bastante chulo.
Para empezar los dependientes son suuuper amables: enseguida te preguntan si sabes cómo funciona y si no te lo explican (hasta me ayudaron a poner la pajita, me debieron de ver cara de torpe o algo) y son muy muy maj@s.
El concepto podría tener mejoras, os explico hastan donde sé:
Tienen varias bebidas (no solo batidos sino también frapés y bebidas calientes) ya ideadas de serie (yo he probado el mojito el batido de chocolate y mi preferido, el de coco) pero lo que me parece realmente divertido del sitio es crear tu propia bebida en varios pasos (y además es más barato!).
Primero escoges una de entre cuatro bases diferentes que puede ser sin leche (té afrutado, frapé) o con leche (batido o té con leche; esta última se puede pedir caliente). Luego el sabor, tienen muchísimos para escoger! Luego viene «el fallo». Tienen una especie de golosina que puedes echarle también de muchos sabores (mango, lichies, granada, naranja…). Hay de varios tipos, las «bombas» no están mal, son como perlitas que al mordelas sale el líquido, pero hay otras que son como gelatina que no termino de cogerles el truco. Puedes escoger cuáles quieres pero a mi gusto las bebidas ni las necesitan.
