Lunch time in Meloneras Boulevard is a tricky business — both for the holiday makers and proprietors. There are many restaurants located side by side. We normally have to decide beforehand and walk purposely whilst dodging the waiters trying to entice you to their business. Many are themed and have wonderful selection of worldly foods.(even a Japanese Mexican mix. yup) On this occasion we didn’t have a specific lunch in mind and we decided to take the first one offering food to us. — Luck have it the Faro Melody was our winner. We were heartily welcomed and free to choose our spot in the sun. We started with a Pina Colada, very milky and foamy!(and with the little umbrella) We choose and green juicy melon and Iberian ham starter. This was so nice Anita couldn’t help herself exclaiming this«was the best starter EVER!» — I thought it was nice too. She continued with Salmon and salad, I had a Steak«La Plancka» — which was a rump-steak on a charred chopping board smothered in pepper sauce. There was piped mashed potato — fired. Some fresh bell peppers and salad. This was so good I decided to leave a good tip!
