I visited the market tavern last month and can honestly say it was excellent. The food was delicious and very good value. The staff were friendly and attentive. My friend happened to mention that it was my birthday to the waitress and they brought my food out with a candle in it and the whole restaurant sang happy birthday to me! I think that was such a special thing to do just from a comment made to the waitress, the kind of personal touch that is very impressive! The market tavern is very highly recommended by me and I will definitely visit again!
